The initial quality has been great. The ottoman is easy to open. The top is flat enough to hold a tray for drinks. I am using this as a coffee table rather than an ottoman.

I bought this based on reviews on Overstock. I was more than happy and it arrived so quickly. Already sat on it, put my feet on it and put my blankets/pillows in there. Great, sturdy, quality otto for the price. Fits my space perfect. When we opened it and took it out of the box it looked black. I had to open the front door and drapes to actually see that it is brown and not black. It is a very dark brown, not a chocolate brown but maybe exspresso.Too much trouble to return but it is so nice, I will keep it.

This is a great ottoman for the value. It's very well constructed and seems more expensive than it is. The description the website is is accurate in dimension and color.

I bought two of these for our bedrooms. We needed extra storagage and a place to sit. They look great at the foot of our beds. I plan on ordering another when it's back in stock. The bench is very sturdy and would work well as dinning room seating.

Really nice ottoman. Looks great and true to the picture. It's not very wide but fit the space I needed perfectly and is pretty spacious inside. You can tell it's not top of the line ONLY when you look at the staples inside. otherwise it looks much more expensive than it was.

Great surprise! This piece is very well made, sturdy and has a great hinged lid that allows you to have the bench right up to the wall and still be able to open it! It was packed very securely and was even in it's own bag...like a fine leather handbag! Love it!

This is a beautiful additon to my living room. Well crafted, shipped in excellent condition. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because of the color. This is described as a chocolate brown, but what I actually received is an espresso colored ottomon. It even says 'espresso' on the box. If you are trying to match lighter browns, this may not be the right choice.

I ordered 2 of these for my home business. I needed extra storage and seating so these fit the bill. I am very happy with the construction. I love how the top opens on hinges and stays in place. They are not cozy comfortable but suit my needs perfectly.

I ordered the product but I wanted genuine leather. the product does not say bonded leather as the description reads. I am not sure if this is real leather. What does anyone else say. I' think it may not be as it said it was in the description.

The width reports 34.8" and 34" on Overstock's review, but the width is actually 33." I wanted it as close to 38" as possible. Although, the bench is very attractive, made well, sturdy, and no damage. It was shipped timely. I love the storage. My first order with Overstock.com.

This ottoman is a nice, chocolate brown material - though it's not real leather it could pass as such. The lining inside is well-made and well secured. We wished that there was some inner lip that the lid would catch on for longevity. Anticipating this problem: someday, someone will sit on the top and it will slide sideways and damage the hinges since there is no lip to keep the top from sliding. For the price, this is an excellent value. We don't plan to use it for a toy box or for very frequent sitting so it should last quite some time.

This ottoman was exactly what my husband and I were looking for to use as a coffee table in our condo. It is a very nice rich dark brown, that goes very well with other items in our home. The ottoman is very well made and it is such a plus that it opens up with ample storage space inside. We store a blanket and our Wii accessories inside. It arrived within 3 days of ordering it from Overstock.com and in excellent condition. I would highly recommend this ottoman if you are look for a smaller sized one to use as a coffee table or to put at the end of a bed. We love it!!!

we needed a small scale unit for the end of our Queen bed. most were to big or too small. this fit the bill -and we are very happy with it. good quality and condition. safety hinge on top very nice. note: this is very dark brown leather - but this was what we needed for our dark brown bedroom furniture. arrived VERY fast - 3 days after a Saturday order.... GREAT service !
