I ordered the Lily Lamp with the cranberry color glass shade because it said it was more on the red side but when I got it it was definately not cranberry even though the box said cranberry. The lamp was in the box upside down which led me to believe it was possibly returned and put in the wrong box...The color of the shade was purple but I decided to try it anyway. I bought it to use as a night light between bedrooms and bathroom,.I ended up keeping the purple color as it was a soft , warm muted purple and gave out just enough light to see where you were going.
This beautiful lamp, designed by the famous makers of Tiffany Lamps, literally takes my breath away. I have a three tierred open shelf upon which I have my treasured cranberry and other sorts of crystal. This lamp shines a soft glow over them, which makes them sparkle as they have never sparkled before! I consider this purchase an investment, just like I do my crystal collection.
