I love this ceiling fan/light. It is light in color/blades so you are not overwhelmed by a large dark fan. Wonderful customer service at Overstock!!! Love it!!

I needed a 36 inch outdoor fan for a very narrow screened porch and this one fit the bill! I didn't know until I started looking, but that size is not easy to find at a reasonable price. Am very pleased with this purchase.

It was very difficult to assess the quality of this lamp. I needed a 36 inch table lamp, this is listed as such. It is actually including the tip of the finial, and the ratio of shade to lamp, base do not give an appearance of 36 inches high. It is an inexpensive lamp, very retro, Mid-Century modern. One thing difficult to see in the picture is the fact that the shade has a very cheap edging on it at the top and bottom. I do not like the look of it at all. I will be moving this lamp to my basement rec room.

if you are on the fence about the beauty of this then please buy it because it is sooooooo beautiful and the crystals sparkle like any 1000 - 2000 dollar piece. i would suggest hanging it 36 inches from the table top to bottom of crystal and using the 40w not 60w bulbs as it is very very bright.be ready for the glam and wow factor and be sure that your decor can handle such sparkle, very good for modern and expensive decor because it is very very nice and upscale looking. assemly is easy, install was easy.

The description given of this lamp is inaccurate. The dimensions given are 12 inches high and 18 inches wide. The lamp is much less than 12 inches high and it is only 16 inches in diameter. This is much smaller than advertised, and not what was anticipated so is a disappointment. I looked at many lamps to get the size I wanted and was unfortunately misled by the advertisment. The lamp itself is of good quality.

It's a great lamp, however I am waiting for my replacement from Overstock. Customer service is awesome!! I read in the review that the cord and chain were 70 inches long, and that's what I needed. So, it was really only about 36 inches long, and with tall (11 foot) ceilings it didn't even come close to the table. I called Overstock to let them know, and they immediately offered to send a replacement to arrive within just a couple of business days. I messaged them on a Friday, so hopefully it will arrive by Tuesday. The lamp appeared to be just as described, except for the short cord. My electrician did not want to add more cord and chain because he said that you would see the connection caps a few feet from the ceiling, Hopefully it really has a 70 inch cord and chain as most other lamps have in big box stores. It was great and I can't wait to get my replacement and no extra shipping costs to me. It was inconvenient because now I have to pay the electrician AGAIN. I am sure that if you're handy you can hang the light yourself, as it was not heavy at all.

I've always wanted some kind of crystal in my entry way and this fit it well. I wish I could have gotten it in the 36 inch diameter, but the cost differential was too much. I have a large entry way so I could have used a few more bulbs but I am using those new led 2.5 watt bulbs so even if it stays on all day it is still only 15 watts per hour in usage. I loved it so much I put another one up, exactly the same, in my dining area. I couldn't find a chandelier to echo the entry, and I have height limitations. I put them up in a circa 1967 brick ranch, with south west facing (10 foot wide) windows so when the sun shines in the crystals sparkle and dance on the walls. Everyone who has seen it has liked it, even MEN...who thought they noticed?

My new home has an eight foot tall entry door and nine foot ceilings so I needed a fixture that has less than a 12 inch drop. This fixture is absolutely perfect in my enrty. It is elegant without being too fussy. so my husband likes it too.

Most important, as stated my another reviewer, this light can only be up facing. The glass covers sit securely inside their square holders, they are not screwed in. I put in 3 new LED 60 watt bulbs, that is what the fixture is rated to, because my wife uses this powder room for make up, it is bright as daylight in the windowless room. For those not requiring or wanting a very bright room I recommend a lower watt bulb or a dimmer switch. The wall plate was large enough to cover the existing hole for installation. I put this brushed nickel vanity light in a 36 inch wide power room after redoing the mirror, sink, counter, and fixtures. I needed up lights because my medicine cabinet opened into the previous, builder installed, down lit brass fixture. The light is as pictured, if you like the photo, you will like the light.

I bought this chandelier for my parents' anniversary. They are re-doing their home and I figured instead of buying junk they wouldn't use, I would mainly purchase things for the make-over. Although my mother is 63-years old and my dad is 76, they like the look of their new chandelier. It is airy and has a "nature" feel. My mother's only complaint initially was that given this is a 3-light chandelier, it seemed as if there was a gap (that it would look more balanced if it had 4 lights). I turned the chandelier until it looked good facing the main traffic area of the room. Clear candelabra bulbs caused a terrible reflection on a framed picture and a glare in the room, so my mother bought frosted bulbs and this fixed the problem. She debated buying small shades (they are about $10 each at home improvement stores) but she then decided doing so would make the fixture less noticeable, more average looking. As another reviewer stated, if the person attaching the crystals has arthritis, he/she may not be able to fit the pins into the tiny holes. My mother started out helping me, but because of her hands, I wound up doing this myself. It is not a horrible task and worth the time given the price of this unique light. I hung the light with assistance from my mother (she supported it while I attached the wires). Although I am not an electrician by any means, I have hung numerous ceiling fans and lights in my own home. If you have no experience, you may have a problem. You could check the Internet for home wiring/fixture information before you begin your project. My parents have a small dining room (10'x10' at best with an average 8' ceiling) and this chandelier looks nice. If it were a few inches larger, I believe it would look even better. So, if you have a small dining area, it will look great, but if you have a large dining area, you may opt for a larger, more dramatic chandelier. The chandelier is dark (more of a black) and the pins are silver. I did as another reviewer stated and sprayed the pins with a bronze paint which didn't take any time at all. While the pins were drying, I attached the crystals to the chandelier and took a break about half-way through the process to turn the pins and spray the other side of them. Some of the crystals were nicked but since the company includes many extra ones, the best can be chosen to attach. I feel this light is a great bargain compared to others I have seen and is unique in appearance. I have been looking for a chandelier to replace the one in my ultra-small foyer and am probably going to order one of these for my house. My mom won't mind if I have the same chandelier as her. :-)

I don't mean to confuse, but I am conflicted about this light. I love, love, love it. It is gorgeous and casts the most beautiful patterns on the ceiling and walls. The negative part of my review is about the assembly. I believe there are 36 one and one-half inch crystal balls hanging from this light. I was expected to hang these fairly heavy real crystals with a one half inch piece of wire. I was half way through assembly when the crystal balls started dropping off in my lap. I would not even consider hanging this light in that fashion, as I believe someone would probably get knocked in the head with a falling crystal ball eventually. I couldn't bear to part with this beauty either, so out I went in search of a fastener that would safely set my mind at ease. What I came up with was a lightweight key ring that will hold each crystal up beautifully and safely. If you have a craft store nearby check out the jewelry making section and find some fastener that will "lock" in each crystal ball if you really love, love, love this light like I do and have to have it! I also purchased the matching dining room light, I had to stock up on key rings at my local craft store...

We have a hallway where the center ceiling portion is lower so we therefore needed something less than 17 inches high and also desired something sparkly. This fixture filled our particular needs spectacularly. It arrived promptly as well as being polished clean and in perfect condition. Excellent fixture for the price.

I was extremely excited to recieve my lamps which arrived in less than a week. They were packaged tightly because they weighed a lot. The base has a half inch beveled design which makes it look so rich. I would definitely recommend these lamps to anyone who is looking for crystal lamps. The shade is even made of quality fabric.

Wonderful, fabulous chandelier. I couldn't be happier with this. NOTE: It comes with downrods, not a chain, which I think is classier. It has three 12" rods, and the fixture itself is about another 12+ inches, so you have at least 4 feet to work with. Also, it is less wide in appearance than in dimensions, because the glass plates make it "wider" but it doesn't appear wider, because the fixture itself is a normal size.

I needed small lamps for side by side nightstands, so I ordered two of these. The nightstand is only 18 inches, so this lamp was the perfect size. The rectangular contemporary shade is forward of the base by several inches, so it takes up less space at the base...leaving room for a phone, remote, etc.. I am also using the new "warm" dimmable LED lightbulbs in them, which gives off a very nice warm glow (the shade is white when off, IVORY when illuminated). Assembly was easy, and it was very well packaged--and they arrived in only 3 days.

I saw this chandelier on a different store's website for around $$$, but eventually found the exact same thing for much less. I LOVE IT. The name "wrought iron" is misleading, because as other reviewers have said, it is basically cheap metal tubing. (I wonder if the expensive P.Barn's version is made of different material, or if it just costs more because it is pre-assembled). Assembly and installation were easy - although I did have my husband do the installation since he's much taller than me. I did have one issue with a bolt for one of the arms - it wouldn't catch on the screw thread, so I just superglued it on. The arms are NOT 100% rigid if you just screw them on per the instructions, but if you want them that way, a dab of superglue will do the job. And yes, there are little holes in the arms, but you don't notice them unless you're looking up close and at eye level. I.e., during assembly. You won't see them while you're eating dinner. (you're supposed to hang a chandelier 30-36" above the table or something). I love the round glass balls - the round shape is what makes this piece unique. They add just enough bling to make the chandelier special without making it feel overly formal, or like the old crystal chandeliers your grandmother had. Literally, every time I look at it, I think "wow, I LOVE this chandelier". It's beautiful and I scored a great deal on it. Can't beat that.

I am so pleased with this fixture! It is easy to assemble, although all 264 round crystals have to be attached by hand. It's easy, just time-consuming. They are real crystals and the finished look is like a prism. I couldn't ask for a better looking light for less money! One thing to note, both the 'white' and 'black' wires are wrapped in clear insulation and the wires are fused together...it was a pain to separate them . The wire with writing on it should go to the 'black' wire in your fixture box. Another note - it says the length is 11.5 inches, but if you are putting this fixture flush to the ceiling, it actually is a 15 inch length when you add the ceiling cap. As long as nobody over 6'3" comes into my closet, I'm good! I would buy this again.

I love this light. I would give it 5 stars, but the diffuser is indeed white while the drum shade is creamy. Also, my light's center rod a little 'off center', so the diffuser is not centered within the shade. We're talking less than a quarter inch, so it's not that big of a deal. As long as you're not directly underneath looking up at it, you can't even tell. I think it's a good value for a nice modern fixture, but I do wish the diffuser matched better. I have it as my ceiling fixture in a den, and the minimum length with the mounting hardware is 17 inches - this is good to know for walking clearance. On an 8 foot ceiling, it is fine to use as a central light. I would buy again.

Although there was a workmanship issue with my pendant (the inner connecting ring - from where the crystals hang - was not level), I am still confident in giving this product 4 stars. The style of the lamp is a nice combination of traditional (crystals, which appear to be real) and urban/rustic (metal cage). The product arrives nicely packaged but requires a bit of assembly. The wiring needs to be threaded through several screw-on disks and also the rods, but that was simple. There were (approx) 36 individual strands of crystals which arrived unattached to the fixture. The process of putting the lamp together and attaching the crystals to the inner ring took approximately 45 minutes. (As mentioned above, the inner ring on my lamp was not level, therefore after the pendant was hung, I had to spend about another 30 minutes adjusting each individual strand's length to make the whole unit appear level. That was frustrating, not to mention made my arms and neck ache!) I chose to use this light in my dining room. It's a fairly substantial size (not huge, but not dainty) that's just right for my space. I only used the 6-inch drop rod due to my low ceilings. I had it installed and put on a dimmer switch by a licensed electrician. I like having the dimmer because of the ambiance that's created when the light is on a lower setting (the crystals cast a great pattern on the walls and ceiling - almost aquarium-like) but I also like the flexibility to have brighter light when needed. The description says this pendant is "copper" but that is NOT the color. The color is Oil-Rubbed Bronze (closely resembles the product photo). I purchased a ceiling pendant to use with this lamp (from a home improvement store) in oil-rubbed bronze and it matched perfectly. The product description says that three 40-watt candelabra bulbs are required, but the lamp itself says that you can go up to 60 watts.
