Sleek fan that looks more modern than any other fan on the market. Ordered the white which only came with a 10 in downrod but just bought a 6 in white downrod and used with this fan to make it a bit closer to the ceiling. The only thing is it doesn't have a light but otherwise a perfect fan for any room!

We had this beautiful fan installed in the dinette to replace our previous ceiling fan. The HUNTER products are very well made and works out very well with our decor. We have the blades on the white side to keep the area light and casual. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND if you are looking for a new ceiling fan 52" in diameter with 3 candlelight.blubs. This fan has 3 speeds and if I might suggest keeping it on the lowest level for cooling the area. If you are looking for a new ceiling fan consider this one.

I usually do not post reviews, but I love this fan so much that I feel compelled. It is a beautiful, high quality fan that puts out a lot of air without a lot of racket. We purchased a 2' downrod from the local hardware store and it hangs beautifully from our very tall, angled ceiling (there is a rounded, pivoting end that allows for straight or angled hanging; we needed the longer downrod for height only). I also bought a longer pull chain because of the higher ceiling. I was afraid I would not like the wooden blades against a mostly white backdrop, but it is beautiful. It adds the finishing touch to my beach-themed bedroom. Note to purchasers: if the fan does not work after installation, ensure the switch on the side of the motor is all the way down and not in the middle.

Good looking ceiling fan and lights are bright. The fan is silent while running. I have no complaints except one: why doesn't the package contain longer chains. The chains are no more that 2 or 3 inches long. Thankfully, I removed the chains from my old fan and added it to this one. Otherwise, I warn future customers to buy extensions for the chains at your local hardware store.

This fan has a cool look to it. The reason for the 3 star is because it only comes with a 2 inch down rod. It's VERY tight against the ceiling.

Installation of the fan is mostly straight forward, but the wire/switch control housing between the fan motor and light fixture is VERY diffucult to install. The housing needs to be just slightly deeper or wider to easily accommodate all the switches and wiring connections and be able to get it screwed on correctly. Also, the ceiling mounting bracket may be problematic for older homes with older electrical boxes. Our home was built in to 80's and the span of the bracket was about 3/8" wider than the box in the ceiling. In the end, installed 2 in a large living area and they look and work great. Both came perfectly balanced and are very quiet.

Our house has tall ceilings and being an interior room, good lighting in our walk in closet was important to us. These provide perfect lighting for the long, tall space, allowing us to see throughout the closet but not overly bright which is good since the light spills into our bedroom.

Affordable and very attractive ceiling far. Would have given it 5 Stars but I have three minor gripes: (1) The fan blade piece is slightly lopsided (the part the blades connect to). My other ceiling fan from Overstock had the same problem. You can barely notice but it bugs me a bit. (2) Wish the fan had a slower "low" speed. The "low" speed is a little too fast. (3) The glass light piece was broken upon delivery. Overstock took care of it in a couple days. Overall, I am happy with the fan!
On September 4, 1882 , one square mile of lower Manhattan was aglow with light as the first commercial power station went into operation. Thanks to Thomas Edison's brilliance, for about 24 cents per kilowatt hour, 59 customers were provided with lights and electricity at night. By the late 1880s, the demand for that service had grown so much that small power stations could be found in many U.S. and European cities. We're still amazed by all the practical and aesthetic possibilities offered by lighting . Electrifying Timeline: Arc lamps preceded light bulbs. Read More
