I bought 4 of these for my Great Room that has no ceiling lighting. They are made well and look great!

Our house has tall ceilings and being an interior room, good lighting in our walk in closet was important to us. These provide perfect lighting for the long, tall space, allowing us to see throughout the closet but not overly bright which is good since the light spills into our bedroom.

This is a great product. I am going to replace two other older ceiling fans with this product.

I have ordered several of these ceiling fans for my house. I have a hard time finding a fan that I like and these are really nice-looking. Very clean and classic, have a good quality look to them and blend in very well with our decor. I got the downward-facing shade because I don't like to have to look at bare light bulbs. The only down side to that is that the glass is pretty thick and opaque, so even with a 60-watt bulb (these take candelabra bulbs) these are pretty dark. They don't provide a whole lot of extra light to your rooms. I use floor lamps for most of my lighting anyway so that doesn't bother me too much. But if you're going to be using this fan as your main light source it may not be enough for you.

Watched a YouTube video on how to change out the ugly lights on your ceiling fans. Got this beautiful chandelier for my white ceiling fan in our master bedroom and wow what a difference, CLASSY! When the fans on high the crystals jingle, I love it.

On September 4, 1882 , one square mile of lower Manhattan was aglow with light as the first commercial power station went into operation. Thanks to Thomas Edison's brilliance, for about 24 cents per kilowatt hour, 59 customers were provided with lights and electricity at night. By the late 1880s, the demand for that service had grown so much that small power stations could be found in many U.S. and European cities. We're still amazed by all the practical and aesthetic possibilities offered by lighting . Electrifying Timeline: Arc lamps preceded light bulbs. Read More
