    This is a great unit, small attractive, and makes a cozy warm area for over 600 sq ft. and also you do not feel you are at risk with it starting a fire.

  • Good Secondary Heater

    I bought this heater to heat up my 400sq ft. studio and to be the primary heat source. Here what I like and dislike: PROS: portable, lightweight, has an eco mode, love that I can time it to turn on before I get home so the studio is warm, easy to operate. CONS: the fan is noisy, make a great sound machine :) Works well as a secondary heat source as it warms up the room slowly (takes an hour or so). I use another wall unit heater to help heat up the studio faster.

  • Didn't work for my application.

    Heater seemed okay, but temperature cannot be set below 59 degrees. This was a problem for me as I needed it to heat a room at around 50 degrees when not in use--which is most of the time. It would have been an energy waste for me. Sent back.

Some of these heaters have a small washable/cleanable filter that you remove and get the dust and dirt off of periodically.. (similar to the disposable filters on the air intake section on a home furnace) Does this particular unit have one of those on it? carlaqh on Jan 20, 2013

Yes there is an air filter this needs to be cleaned after 3 months of use. This filter can just be rinsed off with water. overstockcustomercare1 on Jan 23, 2013
 
 
I intend to go to North Africa. I have a ground level apartment there, which was very cold last winter. The city circuit is pretty good but it use European 220 Volts. I thought of using this device since its efficient for the size of my apartment. I intend to use a Voltage Converter for the 220 - 110 Volts but I can only use it for 15 min a time. So I am thinking of using them for 15 min On and 15 min Off, to moderate the temperature there since the heating devices there are expensive and not so efficient. Can I program this device to switch off/on in 15 min intervals? Thank you. magiclamp on Dec 31, 2012

Thank you for your interest. In regard to this heater, it cannot be set to turn on and off by itself for exactly 15 minute intervals. These units do cycle thermostatically and they do have a timer function. The timer function can be set every time the heater is going to be used and is in one hour increments.
