It puts out a lot of heat and is kinda cute for a fake flame.Read More
I would recommend this product, the heat it produces is good. We have it in our master bedroom which is extremely large with 20 foot ceilings and it is a good source of supplemental heat. The only thing my husband and I don't like about the heater is that it has no thermostat. We would prefer to be able to leave it on at night and set it to the temperature that we would like it to maintain. However, the remote control that comes with the unit is nice.Read More
This heater/fire place looks great and heats up our space perfect. It is quiet and looks nice also.Read More
This helps take the chill off our game room, but does not heat the room. I may need two of them since we do have vaulted ceilings, but even with the fans going to help distribute the heat this does not heat the room as I had hoped. Box says it will heat up to 1000 sq ft, but Id say its more like 600 sq ft because works great in our small spare bedroom.Read More
it warm up fast. looks so nice love it in my bedroom with stand or for the wall....perfect and cheapRead More
Questions & Answers
No thermostat--two settings: 750W and 1500W. The heater can also just be used as a decorative "fireplace" as the "flames" will light up without having to turn on the heat.
Is it really over 10" deep? Photo does not look like it is sticking out that far from the wall.
That really doesn't answer the question "every one that is selling this list the same dimensions." I have electric wall fire places and even the larger ones only stick out a maximum of 5 inches. I can't imagine 10 inches, but I would like to know for sure
Thank you for your inquiry and feedback. We apologize for the delay in providing a proper answer. We were able to confirm with our support team. The 10.7 inch measurement for the EF-450 combo refers to the unit with its base attached. When wall mounted, this unit width is more towards 7-8 inches. I hope this answers your questions and apologize again for the inconvenience.
CAN or HOW do you change the bulbs when they burn out?
If the Infrared Quartz Elements With 25,000 Hour Lifespan needs changing we recommend using the warranty.
Where is the blower or where does the heat come out of top/front?
The heat comes out from the top.
Is this energy efficient? Or does it use a lot of electricity?
LIFESMART offers ultra-efficient, safe and evenly distributed heat at less cost than other heating systems.

LCD TVs vs Plasma TVs
Flat-screen TVs seem to be everywhere. For you, the choice may seem like a toss-up between plasma TVs and LCD TVs. These competing technologies each have advantages, so it's important to consider your specific needs before purchasing a flat-screen TV. If you are highly knowledgeable, you may want to consider the more technical specifications of LCD and plasma TVs. This is a fast-moving technology, so the advantages of each technology may soon even out with one another. Until then, here are some facts that may help you with the choice between plasma and LCD TV technology. Price differences. While price is important, it doesn't tell the whole story when comparing LCD and plasma. In the past, plasma TVs were slightly less expensive than LCD TVs of the same size, and the price differential became greater as the size of the television increased. The gap in price has narrowed between flat-screen technologies, though. Price is probably the least important factor, especially since you can find good deals on both plasma TVs and LCD TVs. Use. How you use your TV matters. Plasma TV screens are prone to "burn-in," a problem in which still or static images can be more or less permanently imprinted on the screen. This is of particular concern if you play video games, which tend to display static images for long periods of time in the same location on the screen. Fortunately, newer plasma TVs are less vulnerable to burn-in. If you plan to use your flat-screen TV for video games or other static images, LCD TVs may be a better choice. Environmental considerations. LCD TVs use an average of one-third to one-half as much energy as a plasma TV of the same size. The difference comes from the different lighting technologies. If you are concerned about your energy consumption, LCD is a greener choice. As technology improves, plasma TVs may improve their energy consumption. Lifespan. When early models of LCD TVs and plasma TVs were compared, LCD had the longer lifespan. But plasma technology has improved, and plasmas now boast a lifespan equal to LCDs. Most flat-screen TVs claim around a 60,000-hour lifespan. Depending on your usage, this means your flat-screen TV should last 20 years or more. The only parts of an LCD TV that wear out are the bulbs that illuminate the LCD screen. On a plasma TV, the bulbs will also go out before the screen does. Size and weight. LCD TVs are typically much lighter and less bulky than plasma TVs of the same size. Plasma TVs use glass for their screens, which is heavier and more fragile than the plastic used for LCD TVs. When mounting a large flat-screen TV on a wall, use a flat-screen TV mount and be sure that the wall can support your TV's weight. Picture. Both LCD TVs and plasma TVs produce amazing high-definition picture quality. Plasma TVs typically display blacks more clearly and show crisper detail during fast-moving programming, like sporting events. LCD TV technology is catching up, though, and LCD TVS usually offer greater native screen resolution than plasma TVs. This means more pixels per square inch, for a sharper overall picture. LCD TVs can lose picture quality when viewed at an angle. Some models do better than others on this, so be sure to do your research on any LCD TV's viewing angles. Fountains range in size from burbling rock gardens ideal for tabletops to large pieces of public art. If you live in an urban area or a busy apartment complex, you can use a fountain to create a sense of privacy by masking traffic and other noises.
