    • Air purifier

      I purchased a Quadra from a local store, but wasn't happy with the low volume of air that it circulated, and therefore 'cleaned.' I purchased this air purifier, which arrived quickly, and was really happy with it. It was less than HALF the price and moves ALOT of air! I am very happy with the performance. It is pretty quiet and runs well. I recommend it highly instead of wasting money on the overpriced Sharper Image products!!

    • No cat hair in my food!

      Having a cat that sheds alot, I was finding his fur in my coffee grounds and in things I would be cooking. Since hooking up this Air purifier, that problem is a thing of the past. My vacumn is not picking up hardly any cat hair in my kitchen compared to other rooms that are not accessable to this purifier. I couldn't be more pleased with this product and have told my friends so. Plus, you cannot beat the price. Have priced simular items at $350-$500. I'm elated!

      I liked this so much that I bought another one for the guest bedroom and I plan on buying a couple of more for other rooms in the house. The nicesest thing is that you don't have to keep buying filters. I can actually tell that the air is cleaner. I would certainly recommend this product especially if you smoke or have allergies.

      This is really a great value and works well. One of the only ones without an ozone feature out there". If you do some reseach ozone even in small amounts can be harmful to your health, i.e. headaches and lung problems. I use to use several ozone models for years but now only very sparingly because I found they were giving me a dry nagging cough esp. in winter when the windows are closed. the lung assn. warns about these type. The only reason I gave 4 stars was cause you can't use water to flush out the "inner" filter of this model cause of the electric wires therein. You are supppore to tap them clean. But the gross particle filter you can flushout.

    • Air Purifier

      These air purifiers are nice. They do blow cold air our, however, I am in Florida and it is certainly okay with me. My daughter suffers from allergies and I have been able to cut out two of her medications since getting these. I have a smaller house (1400 sf) and I have a total of 5 of these in my house. One in every room. I know it is a bit overkill, but well worth it.

    • Good unit

      I bought this a couple of years ago and have used it in 3 different rooms. I just recently moved it to our family room from our bedroom because we just got some espresso colored furniture pieces and I would notice that I would clean them and within hours you could see the dust already piling back up. I was convinced that my dogs were the cause of the dust as their bed and the patio door are in close proximity to the furniture. I placed the purifier near the door about a week ago and it is obvious how much the dust that ends up on the furniture has been reduced. The surprising thing is that it is in a very large room (about 25x20) and open to another 1500 square feet, i think it is working because I put it so near the sources of the dust as it is not really meant for a space this large. Well, whatever the case, it is working and I am so happy to not have to see so much dust on my furniture everytime I look at it. I also love that you don't have to buy filters for it. You just rinse the smaller filter and brush off the larger filter and you are good to go.

      Works great. HJave been having good nights sleep ever since I started using the air-purifier for 3 weeks ago. I can not rate durability yet. Hopefully it will last.

      The price made me try it.. A real vaue considering how well it seems to work. The fan, on high, is a little noisy, but it seems to clear the air just fine on medium or low setting too.

    • Clean and Efficient

      After reviewing many air filter products, this unit consistantly earned high ratings. I am pleased to add my 5-star rating, as it truly is a great unit. Enjoy the quite on low, also the column feature which makes it easy to place anywhere in the home. Strongly recommend this unit for pollen and dust; we have noticed a dramatic change in household dust/particles. Buy and enjoy! We do.
