I purchased a Quadra from a local store, but wasn't happy with the low volume of air that it circulated, and therefore 'cleaned.' I purchased this air purifier, which arrived quickly, and was really happy with it. It was less than HALF the price and moves ALOT of air! I am very happy with the performance. It is pretty quiet and runs well. I recommend it highly instead of wasting money on the overpriced Sharper Image products!!

Having a cat that sheds alot, I was finding his fur in my coffee grounds and in things I would be cooking. Since hooking up this Air purifier, that problem is a thing of the past. My vacumn is not picking up hardly any cat hair in my kitchen compared to other rooms that are not accessable to this purifier. I couldn't be more pleased with this product and have told my friends so. Plus, you cannot beat the price. Have priced simular items at $350-$500. I'm elated!

I liked this so much that I bought another one for the guest bedroom and I plan on buying a couple of more for other rooms in the house. The nicesest thing is that you don't have to keep buying filters. I can actually tell that the air is cleaner. I would certainly recommend this product especially if you smoke or have allergies.

This is really a great value and works well. One of the only ones without an ozone feature out there". If you do some reseach ozone even in small amounts can be harmful to your health, i.e. headaches and lung problems. I use to use several ozone models for years but now only very sparingly because I found they were giving me a dry nagging cough esp. in winter when the windows are closed. the lung assn. warns about these type. The only reason I gave 4 stars was cause you can't use water to flush out the "inner" filter of this model cause of the electric wires therein. You are supppore to tap them clean. But the gross particle filter you can flushout.

These air purifiers are nice. They do blow cold air our, however, I am in Florida and it is certainly okay with me. My daughter suffers from allergies and I have been able to cut out two of her medications since getting these. I have a smaller house (1400 sf) and I have a total of 5 of these in my house. One in every room. I know it is a bit overkill, but well worth it.

So far this air filter has held up just fine. It's good at removing larger dust particles. But I have birds and it isn't very good at filtering the bird dander. It is ineffective at removing oder. I noticed that others say that it's good at removing cigarette smoke, well I found that this is absolutely not true.

I was having more severe allergy problems than usual - this has helped immensely. It's easy to clean and runs well. I also like the timer.

I received the air purifier's and they were so easy to understand the set up and the way to clean them I was amazed. They are a bit louder than I thought, but I just make sure to turn them on when I am not in the rooms. I bought two of them and since I have had them I am breathing much better.

I am allergic to any and everything. You name it; dust, ragweed, pollen, cats, dogs, trees, etc. On the advice of my allergist, I purchased an air purifier, as I have two cats. I immediately saw the difference. This product is fantastic. It's not unattractive and it works. The only problem I see with it is the fact that it makes the air in the room cold. But, for the price, I can live with that.

I have noticed a decrease in the amount of dust and pet hair on our furniture and tables. Our home seems to smell better, also. These units run extremely quiet which is something I really like. I feel like I got a good product for the money. I always like shopping Overstock. I have yet to be disappointed. Thanks for great products and great service.

this purifier works great, is very quiet and unobtrusive. its very easy to maintain also. if you're in the market for a purifier this is the best value i've found.

I bought this for my mom who has a house full of pets and is a smoker, everytime we go over there, we are always covered in hair.......or we smell like smoke, so for Christmas we bought her this, and let me tell you, WOW it improved the air and reduced the dander and hair from the pets!! It was so quite you didn't know it was on!! love it

I am very pleased with this model of air purifier. It works quite well in the room it was bought for. It does put out quite a lot of cool air like a fan, but that is not a negative for me. I use a fan year-round so now I just use the purifier. It is not too noisy when in use. I am thinking about buying another one for our family room in the basement.

This purifier offers great quality--The compact size is perfect for a living room-I like how it stands upright and I like the grey color. It has different speeds and truly makes a difference in the air quality! Wonderful product with so many uses.

This unit cannot be used during the winter months because it blows out a strong burst of cool air. I was very disappointed by this unit. The description of how this unit works is very misleading. While it does circulate the air, it is not quiet, and it blows a very strong breeze. I purchased this unit at the tail end of the summer, and now that we are in fall I cannot use it. It is also very large, so you need a fair amount of table space. There are not a lot of bells and whistles in using the unit, so if you are looking for simplicity, this is your unit. Overall the unit may clean the air as advertised, but you cannot tell during the cold months. Consumers in the Southwest (Arizona, S California, and Nevada) would probably love this unit.

i am thrilled with this air purifier. extremely efficient and light-weight. some air conscious friends had their doubts about the quality for such a low price but after an evening when a few smokers dared to not be relegated to outdoors, even the fussiest non-smokers were surprised and pleased.

We purchased three of these machines because our $300.00 air purifiers all started to break down after many years of use. These machines are well made and make a noticeable difference in the air. We live in Florida where humidity and mold are a never ending problem. The instant we turned these machines on, you could smell the difference in our home. We also have kids, dogs, carpet and tobacco smoke. The air is very clean and we are going to purchase two more!

This air purifier is much better than ones I have had in the past. It looks great, and hardly makes any noise. It came from overstock in a short period of time, and I couldn't be happier with the product. I especially like the timer feature, where you can have the filter automatically turn off after 4, 8, or 12 hours.
