Works great. HJave been having good nights sleep ever since I started using the air-purifier for 3 weeks ago. I can not rate durability yet. Hopefully it will last.

The price made me try it.. A real vaue considering how well it seems to work. The fan, on high, is a little noisy, but it seems to clear the air just fine on medium or low setting too.

These air purifiers are nice. They do blow cold air our, however, I am in Florida and it is certainly okay with me. My daughter suffers from allergies and I have been able to cut out two of her medications since getting these. I have a smaller house (1400 sf) and I have a total of 5 of these in my house. One in every room. I know it is a bit overkill, but well worth it.

After reviewing many air filter products, this unit consistantly earned high ratings. I am pleased to add my 5-star rating, as it truly is a great unit. Enjoy the quite on low, also the column feature which makes it easy to place anywhere in the home. Strongly recommend this unit for pollen and dust; we have noticed a dramatic change in household dust/particles. Buy and enjoy! We do.

I work in an old restored building on the first floor and the outdoor smoking pavilion is right outside my window. I am allergic to smoke and was having a lot of sinus and respiratory problems so I started looking for an air purifier. I found that most of them are way out of my price range and was getting discouraged until I looked on overstock. I found this unit and was surprised by the good ratings and the value so i purchased it. I was very glad to find that it is a substantial size and moves a good volume of air, even on the medium setting with my door closed my office stays fresh and smoke free. I am very pleased with the product and the value and would recommend this unit to others. There are purifiers made specifically for cigarette smoke and I am saving up for one of those, but until then this is a wonderful unit for my office.

I am not impressed with this purifier. The prefilter collects a bit of dust, but when cleaning the main filter for the first time (after 1 month the "clean filter" light didn't even come on) there was NOTHING in it. I was happier with an ionic purifier. This one seems to be not much more than a glorified fan.

I just received this air cleaner in the mail. So far I like it. I love the fact that it has a timer on it. The only thing I don't I don't like is that it's a bit noisy. Good thing I don't live in a tiny apt. or I'd go crazy.

I was surprised how large it was - I ddin't pay attention to the size when ordering but knew it was a great deal for the price. I was having problems sleeping because of allergies and this truly makes a difference. Only down side is the size since I have a small bedroom and the low setting is very strong wish they had a lower air flow but it is great!

I bought 3 of these purifiers and so far I am very satisfied. I have noticed the dust doesn't collect on the furniture as quickly as before. My allergies seem to be better at night, too. I would recommend buying this item.

I bought this air purifier because we decided to get a puppy and I tend to be allergic to some breeds of dogs. Well the pup we got doesn't shed too much, but it was amazing to see the amount of dust the purifier picked up out of the air. I have not had any allergy problems from the dog either. I have had the product almost a month and cleaned the 1st filter after 2 weeks and will clean the other one this weekend. I also gave one to my parents. My dad smokes and my mom has breathing problems. They started using it and my mom loves it. She says she can really tell a difference. The only problem is that it blows out cold air, it won't be bad for the summer but in the winter is makes the room a little chilly.

My husband is allergic to our new cats and does not want to give them up. So we tried room purifiers. He could tell a difference the next morning! So we bought more. This is our 3rd one and we are very pleased with them.

I have COPD and asthmatic bronchitis, plus a constant nasal drip. Anything I can find to help me keep clear is a blessing. I bought this air purifier because it was so positively reviewed by other customers. They were right. My bedroom is a small loft with my bed in an alcove. When I go up at night I turn it on at level 2. By the time I am ready to get into bed, I turn it down to level 1 and leave it on all night. Despite the many pollutant producers I have in the room, I am now breathing much better during the night and when I get up in the morning. This Air Purifier has been a great help and the price was great. I intend to use it until I summer heat forces me to switch over to air conditioning.

Well pleased with air purifier for the price and size. Would have liked it to have been more stylish to fit in with my decor but it has helped. I'm looking for another hoping this one will fit in with my decor.

i don't know much about air purifiers, but when i was shopping around this one seemed the best deal for a good machine. i do feel like it is keeping my bedroom air fresher. i run it on the 4 hour timer when i go to bed, which is great because i don't have to wake up to turn it off or worry about wasting too much energy. i'm glad i have it.

I TRULY COULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. IT LOOKS TERRIFIC, BUT AS MANY REVIEWS STATED: IT'S COLD!!!! PERHAPS GOOD FOR THE UPCOMING SUMMER MONTHS, BUT THIS CERTAINLY COULD NOT BE USED YEAR AROUND.

I have only had the unit a month but can give my initial impressions. Though large and like having a fan blowing (not always practical for colder months) both myself and my husband notice a significant reduction in the quantity of dust in the apartment which was one of the main reasons I purchased the unit. It does cause a slight ozone odor but it is not oppressive and can be minimized by not running the unit constantly. The rinsable filter showed what has been collected more visibly than the honeycombed, use-no-water-to-clean larger filter. I do not think this kind of purifier is as good at eliminating oiler residues in the air as say the ionic breeze, but it is a great deal cheaper, still requires no filter replacement and is lightweight making it wasy to move between rooms periodically.

This product was everything I expected it to be and I would recommend it to everyone. Its pretty quiet in the 1st level but once you put up to the 2nd or 3rd level its gets alittle louder but its nothing that really bothers you while you sleep. Other then that the product is great!!!
