Overall these glasses are perfect for the money. We have had very bad luck with all of our expensive wine glasses with chips and constant breaks but these glasses are very durable and have not chipped at all in the dishwasher. We wanted really sturdy glasses which is what we got. They also come out of the dishwasher really clean which may be irrelevant but this seemed to be a problem with all of our other glasses. I have no problems using these for company at all. Great buy for the price!!!!

huge glasses
Glasses arrived clearly marked as fragile. Exactly what I had in mind to serve friends who dislike using plastio to sample wine at casual parties which may become too rowdy for my fine crystal. Very attractive glassware at attractive price for set of a dozen, quite a bit larger than I anticipated. Each stem holds approximately 1/3 to half a bottle of wine! Perfect for sharing wine with careless and clumsy husbands. Nicely balanced and will round out casual barware collection.
