This bowl is decorative and has purpose. I have served salads and desserts in this bowl and it makes whatever you serve, beautiful. When not “in use” I have this bowl on display filled with glass orbs and it looks wonderful. I have also used this bowl as a martini glass; it gets big laughs at parties.

Footed Bowl
As with all things bought on-line, you are at the mercy of the people describing the item. Although measurements are standard pretty much everywhere, some people have a difficult time with height and width. In the case of the footed bowl the measurements are spot-on. However, it's different when you can actually touch the piece to help determine how well it will fit in the space you've chosen. Overstock has been good about descriptions being as accurate as possible.

Preety Bowl
This is a beautiful dish that I use all of the time. Smaller than I expected, however it serves the purpose. I use it for veggies, salads, and it can also be used as a beautiful centerpeice!!!
