We absolutely love this table. It is beautiful and the chairs are comfy ... and just the right size. The chairs were a bit of a pain to put together, but then aren't they all? The underside of the table isn't real pretty, but who ever looks at the underside of their dining table. Overall, we are extremely pleased.

A really great dining set. I am very pleased. I was looking for something solid and stable, and this is it. No flimsy and creaking legs here. Both the table and the chairs are extremely sturdy. Feel free to dance on them! The wood is very beautiful as well as the cushions on the chairs. I've received many compliments. The table and chairs are easy to assemble and took me and my dad about 1.5 - 2 hours. I highly recommend this be done by two people, as the table is quite heavy! One small complaint, but at this price it isn't such a big deal. On a couple of the chair backs, the top front of the chair back is seen to be a little lumpy, especially if bright light hits them just right. As if the person(s) doing the planing didn't quite make them as smooth and flat as they could be. But again, for me, it isn't such a big deal. It's a very small nit to pick and the hardwood is really quite beautiful, especially on the table! Oh, and if you're wondering, there is a removable leaf in the middle that measures 18 inches. I highly recommend it. Buy it now!

We own this dining set almost 6 month right now. They are sturdy and high quality. I do not mind to spend time here to recommend this super value dining set. Do not look furthur!

I love love love my table. I get lots of compliments on it. And, that sucker is heavy!!! The chairs are fine. Nothing special about them (though I do like their design). I'm a single man so they don't get much wear. I'd be curious to see how they'd hold up with more usage. Don't get me wrong, I like their look though. I can see having the table for a long long time...even if I replace the chairs in 20 years.

My parents had their 20th anniversary and together with my brother we wanted to buy them something elegant and beautiful. I went to Overstock and saw this Levy 7-piece Antique Dining Set and of course ordered it instantly. The design and style is amazing, versatile and the antique finish, the hardwood constructed solid chairs and table look high quality and full of grace. The dark color reflects a warm and cozy atmosphere and it fills the whole dining room. Just amazing.

It took about 1 1/2 week from ordering to receiving the pieces. The delivery company was kind enough to bring the pieces into the dining room. One corner of the table has a noticeable scrape - probably due to improperly wrapped pieces that were damaged in transit. 2 bolts were missing for one chair assembly. Rather than waiting for replacements, we went to the hardware store and got them. Installation was relatively easy. It was a bit tricky with assembling the chairs due to a poor diagram but we figured it out. (Here's the trick - shortest length bolts to attach middle chair back to middle of the seat, medium length bolts to attach front legs to seat in the corners and longest length bolts to attach chair back to the seat at the corners). Quality of the finish is below average as the manufacturer did minimal sanding and thus certain spots are rough. The paint job is average as it seems a machine sprayed each piece and some spots are missed. There are small unpainted sections between 2 pieces of wood at the back lattice. The undersides of the table and chairs are very rough and unfinished. I have seen 4X4s that are more sanded. Luckily, we won't see the undersides. The upholstered seats are a bit hard but hopefully they will soften with use. Seat cover is a tannish/light brown color and seems to be of good quality. The assembled table and chairs seem very solid and could take some abuse. Overall, it is a good value for 6 chairs and a table but I would have gladly paid $100 more for better sanding and paint. We will be keeping the set since it is still a decent set even with its many shortcomings.

My friends said "How can you buy furniture without seeing it?" Well I would rather buy online than go into a store and this was no exception. I read the reviews and made a decision and this was one of the best ones I've made. I was looking for something simple and clean, yet elegant for my newly updated dining room and this set fit the bill perfectly. We still marvel at how beautiful and substantial the table is--I will no longer use a tablecloth! The chairs are perfect and everything was very easy to put together. It was also delivered one week from the order date which I didn't expect and was pleasantly surprised. I will continue to order from Overstock whenever I can.

As soon as I saw this antique dining set I fell in love with it. The price is amazing for such a set. I was always looking for something classic, stable and stylish. This is what I found in this set. It is massive enough for the price and looks great in the dining room. I am sure this dining set, the table and chairs will last for a long time. Everyone is invidious on this furniture, which does not surprise me. The lines and fabric, the work is excellent.

this dining room set is beautiful and arrived here in a timely fashion. i had some trouble and confusion involving paypal and payment, but when talking with an overstock customer service representative we were able to resolve the issue in a short period of time and i was more than satisfied with the outcome. the dining set did take some time to put together, but that is expected with any new furniture. table has an unfinished-look to it underneath, but no one sees that part of the table anyway. some poor workmanship on the chairs and not all chairs are uniform in look and assembly. overall, we are very satisfied with our purchase.

Great value, beautiful workmanship. love the chair seat covers, olive green/ecru pattern. Lovely veneer top with a chessboard type pattern. Took my husband several hours to assemble. Delivery was great, here on time. Overall, very satisfied.
