I purchased this leather ottoman to use as a cocktail table in my living room, it is the perfect size. The ottoman is well made, I specially love the black cover that attaches to the bottom of the ottoman covering the bottom very nicely. Leather is of excellent quality and is sure to last for a lifetime! Simply Love It!! Would recommend if you are looking to add that special piece to any room! Oh and leather does not at all appear to be plastic, it very much is top quality leather!!!

This ottoman is wonderful rich leather, mine is not plastic-like at all. Perfect for a cocktail ottoman in front of a sectional. We put a ottoman tray on top and the result is pure elegance...very chic. Also perfect for babies...no sharp edges!!! An absolute steal at this price. Buy now!

i read the reviews -- nearly all of them -- before purchasing this for our living room. the size and color are perfect (a bit smaller and a nice deep brown - not as shown in the photo), and the details are impressive for the price. the quality and design of this ottoman are as stated in many reviews -- very good for the price, making this an item i would recommend without hesitation to a friend.

We bought this ottoman to use as a coffee table in our living room in between two loveseats and it looks amazing. The ottoman is a rich, dark brown (I think it is actually a little darker than the picture online) and the leather is very nice (not plastic like at all). I would definately recommend this ottoman....the price is great compared to all of the other ottomans I have looked at. This was my first time purchasing on Overstock and I will not hesitate to shop on overstock again!

I love, love, love this ottoman! It is replacing one that I paid over $600.00 for, ( a well known brand), however, this one not only looks nicer, but, it seems to be more well built too. It looks so much more expensive than it is!!! Assembly was a matter of screwing on some legs, ( less than 5 minutes). It is a very neutral dark brown, that I personally think would look nice and blend well with almost any color combination of existing furniture. I am VERY picky, and usually only go high end with furniture, but this is my 3rd overstock.com furniture purchase that I am beyond pleased with. You can't beat the price on this ottoman for what you get!!! I will probably be ordering another one. Great for extra seating!!!!

I would definitely recommend this ottoman. I had read the other reviews before purchasing so I had high expectations. I was not disappointed when the piece arrived. It looks much more expensive than the price. The leather is soft and and a beautiful deep brown color. It's the perfect size for my small living room.

I love this ottoman. It is very easy to put together. You just need to attach the legs. Mine didn't have a strong smell. I use it as a coffee table with a tray on top.

I absolutely love this ottoman. It is made of high quality leather and excellent construction. It was generously packaged for shipping and I received it in excellent condition. I also received it in less time than what I originally expected. I really couldn't be any happier with my decision to purchase this ottoman.

If you are looking for a casual, low maintenance ottoman to get you through the kid years, then this is it. You have to be prepared for lower quality despite all of the very positive reviews. It is appropriate for the cost. Having said that however, it's neat and a nice chocolate color and works for my xxxxxx, xxxxxx and xxxxxxx style living room. The one negative, and this is a big one, is that the fake leather and glue has a really strong odor. Smells like sour olives and chemicals (sorry for the strange descriptions but that is what is smells like). Anyway, it has been about 4 months and it still smells but nor as strong as in the beginning. I expect that it will eventually dissipate but it is noticeable to our family and guests.

Bought this ottoman a few months ago before my husband and I were hosting a large annual dinner party and needed extra seating in the living room. It arrived in just a couple of days and took only about 10 minutes to unpack and put together. It looks fantastic and way better than you would expect for the price. Other reviews are correct: the color is even a little darker and richer than the picture. Definitely exceeded my expectations and looks beautiful in our house. Absolutely love this piece.

I am amazed at how nice and rich looking this ottoman is. I had never purchased from Overstock but was willing to take a chance on this ottoman because of the price. The chocolate brown color matched exactly with my new sectional. It is so classy and rich looking. I am so glad to have made this purchase.

Great bargain on this piece....and free shipping offered before Christmas! I did my research and read all of the reviews prior to purchasing. The reviews are what helped me decide to purchase so I made sure that I would write my own. This piece is very nice quality and quite versatile. I had a rectangular chest as a coffee table before this. This otterman better fits with my sectional sofa. It is very light so it can be moved around to suit different scenarios or used with a different chair. I had a huge wooden tray that I set on top of it when needed to hold drinks, food, etc. It also could go with many different styles of furniture. Mine style is more traditional and although this piece is contemporary, it goes great with my furniture. I like to mix styles up a litte bit. I have already recommended this piece to others. All in all, this piece is great for the price!

We ordered this ottoman to replace our glass coffee table. All in preparation for a new baby. We love it. It is sturdy, beautiful and makes the room look great. It is great to sit on, rest your feet on, eat off and even change the baby on. You do need a long screwdriver to assemble put it only took about 5 minutes to do this. I guess it just depends on how handy you are. I would highly recommend this....

The ottoman is a welome addition to our livingroom, but there are a few things to be aware of: 1. The leather is glossy-and not the more faded, "worn in" look like the picture. 2. The feet require a superlong screwdriver since the screwdriver is placed through the large foot to get to the base. 3. The tufts are just sewn in without any buttons making it not as strong as it could be...we already have one stich that looks like it is coming out. (but since we use it as a coffee table it should be fine). Overall we're happy given the great price. All was fine in the shipping process and it took about 10 minutes to put together (after we found a ling enough screwdriver).

I ordered this ottoman and using it in my living room. It is made of very good craftsman ship, was easy to assemble. The only thing is you need to have a relly long srew driver to screw the legs to the ottoman. The product looks much better in real life then on picture and is high quality! Great product and worth the money.

I had been looking for an ottoman for months when I came across this one and couldn't believe the price. We ordered it, after weeks of thinking about it, and absolutely love it! It looks better in person, is well constructed and looks perfect with our sectional sofa. It really looks like a high end piece of furniture. I am a very happy customer!!!

The ottoman is very nice. The leather is high quality, and the color is beautiful. It came quickly- less than one week. BUT...you have to put the legs on yourself. This would not be such a big deal if it made any sense at all. They give you screws that need to go through one end of the leg, and then you need to find the hole (that is covered by fabric), and try to find a long enough screw driver to drive the screw in from inside the leg. Of course you can't see what you're doing because this is all going on inside of the leg. Impossible to get the legs tight, so they end up spinning around. Dumbest construction ever!

I love this ottoman! I have used it in a couple different living room set ups/ furniture combo and always looks great and gets a lot of compliments. I highly recommend. Easy to wipe clean and very durable quality

Awesome ottoman, I loved it so much I bought 2. the first one I bought however is beginning to crack. Still think it is worth the money.
