I like this chair. However, it seems to be made for a short person. The headrest is more like a backrest. The leather and workmanship are quality, and it was easy to put together without help, although it took a bit maneuvering, because the base is very heavy.. I would recommend it for a game room. Note: The leather has an odor, that may be offensive to some, that should diminish as it acclimates to the environment - I hope.

I am a frequent Overstock shopper with the attitude that if you know what you're looking for...and do your research...you consistently get great values...and THIS chair is one of them!! I priced this chair online and found the same one available for prices from $ 900 - $ 1200! I needed 4 of them but was wary. I ordered 1 first to check it out. It arrived in perfect condition. Simply flip the seat over and attach the swivel base, with 4 screws and the allen wrench (which was included). It was so easy to put together that my 4 year-old and I did it together. However, be warned that the swivel base is VERY heavy to lift onto the overturned seat. But once you've got it on...it takes minutes to screw into place. My family loved it. So I ordered two more (with coupons) and then the final one, for a total of 4 (in 3 shipments). All arrived in perfect condition...same coloring...same ease of assembly. I will agree with some other customers that if you are on the tall side (5'11 +) your head won't be supported unless you slide down in the chair, eg., to watch a movie. My husband is 6'2" and thinks the chair is fine (with a footrest). The headrest, at its highest setting, hits him just at the bottom of his shoulder blades, which gives him back support. Nonetheless, the chair is sturdy, well made, easy to assemble and totally worth the money. Go ahead you will be pleased.

high quality -- leather, workmanship, structure. really attractive lines and an inviting seat/arm ratio; friends love to sit in it. the base is heavy and strong, and the metal is not at all intrusive, which did concern me as a possibility. this is an amazing design because while the dimensions are small relative to many leather chairs, the seat size and capacity are huge and roomy -- go figure! after seeing this in person, I wanted a second one, but they were all gone so I ordered something close......I say grab 'em if you can find 'em!!

i call this my special chair....and my throne...if i can only find my tiara the picture will be complete.....the base is so sturdy...i wanted a swivel but was leary of any wobble....this does nothing except turn perfectly...i really didn't have a place for this chair when i ordered it but that has never stopped me before....i'm so glad i have it....

All I can say is wow.Furniture store 20 mins from my house has the same chair for $1295.00 plus tax.A truly great deal and excellent quality.Buy this chair!!

Service was excellent. Product arrived with a few days. Product is super comfortable but it arrived with a warped base so customer service sent a replacement. Great service! It being a swivel chair, you need a large area to place it otherwise it will bump into walls as it spins. It definitely needs a ottoman. I wish the chair came with the ottoman.

I bought this leather club chair for my dad as kind of a joke. He’s always been more comfortable with traditional furniture and decorations, and so I thought an expensive gag gift would be really funny. But the joke was on me. He fell in love with this contemporary chair. No kidding—he adores it. Mom said he spends hours in it every evening while he watches television or reads. How will I top this gift next year?

I had to wait for my husband to get home from an out of town trip to help me put this chair together but it was worth the wait. I bought it for his home office?he likes contemporary style?and it looks fabulous in there. He was thrilled with it when we set it up and he is thinking about ordering a second one. It will be a tight fit in his office, but it will look so great.

We ordered two of these chairs, and couldn't be more pleased with them. They look exactly as they appear on the website, and are substantial and elegant pieces. Assembly was easy (but they're heavy, so have two people there if you're a female). We are furnishing a condo in a very contemporary style, and these are perfect for the space. They are also low profile and don't block the view from our floor-to-ceiling windows, but are roomy and comfortable. I highly recommend this chair, for style, quality, and comfort.

I now have a set of four. These chairs are an excellent value and always receive compliments from our guests. People love convenience of the swivel. They are smaller than I imagined, but are comfortable--be sure you check the dimensions. Assembly is very easy - just attach base and insert headrest.

Ordered this chair Monday night and received by FedEx on Wednesday. Amazing in itself. Very comfortable chaie although I bought this more for it appearance. I first saw this chair at a member-only wholesale furniture club. I was researching this chair and was surprised to find it cheaper here by over $100. Only problem I had with assembly was a couple of metric machine screws were missing. I mark it down on ease of assembly because of the added trip to Ace Hardware. Assembly involves 4 screws

This is one of two chairs I ordered and received this week (the other is the Tovana arm chair).I am particularly impressed with the high end quality and look of this modern chair. My sister-in-law has owned the pumpkin colored one for a couple years so I did not hesitate to buy this brown one when I needed a new chair for my tv room. It is extremely comfortable and though I am just 5'1", I do not need a footrest or ottoman.

This is a really nice chair and simple to assemble. The chair is pretty heavy and arrived in 2 pieces, it is simple to put together but you will really want two people for assembly. The chair looks nice and is very sturdy, good value for the money. It is one of the first things that people comment on when they come into my home. Nice clean lines and comfortable.

This chair is great! I was concerned about how sturdy it would be since my son is tall and still growing. Didn't want him to outgrow the chair. It exceeded my expectations, super sturdy, quality construction. Easy to assemble.

The two chestnut brown leather chairs I purchased blend beautifully with other leather living room sofa I already have. Love the design and comfort!

This chair is great. Everyone likes it and we rush to be the first to sit in it. I did have to re-tighten the screws after few months, but this is probably because I did not make them super tight when I assembled. It is holding up well and just looks hip...

Chair is a dark chocolate color leather. Soft leather. I like the wide arms. Putting it together is very easy with the 4 bolts provided. It is very stable. The headrest is not all that usable and a little far back. I would suggest you get a ottoman to go with the chair. The chair came in two tattered shabby boxes. I thought there would be damage. The base was fine, but when I opened the box of the chair there was a 2 " cut in the material that covered the chair. I peaked through the cut and the leather arm was also cut. The outer box itself was not cut though. Strange. I repacked the chair and called for a replacement. After several phone calls to Overstock, UPS came and picked up the re-boxed chair and a day later DHL delivered another chair. This all took about 2 weeks to get replaced. So inspect your chair closely as you unpack it. The chair comes from Wholesale Interiors in Bensenville, Illinois according to the DHL shipping label. A wholesale only manufacture.

Okay I was actually going to write this review when I realized that I never received the pillow that comes with the chair. The chair is so spectacular that I didn't even notice there was something missing. I literally just finished typing with the customer care dept. and they are sending the pillow to my home...the service rep was great and dealing with the issue online was a breeze. Now back to the chair, it's SOOOO hip and cool, I put it together by myself (go girl power) and it's the perfect compliment to my modern den. It's a chair that makes a statement and did I mention that it's really cool? When mine came the leather was a bit dull but after a quick wipe down with armor all...it's FANTASTIC...and well...cool. Get this chair, you won't be disappointed.
