We bought four of these bar stools and they were really packaged well. They assembled with one allen wrench and are the sturdiest pieces of furniture in the room. I am 6'3" and 290 lbs. and have no problems at all with them. We are using them at the new kitchen counter bar and the leather provides a lot of comfort, the swivels allow turning to the great room and the dark wood with reinforced foot rests look great. I highly recommend them.

I bought 4 of these chairs and I am glad I did. I was a bit worried after I read a review about the zipper in the back of the chair but it looks awesome. It really adds character to the chair. These chairs came within a week and were simple to put together. The price was nice and the leather is soft. The chairs are extremely comfortable to sit in. They swivel but not so much that you move if you don't want to. This is a very nice quality product.

I ordered these two black leather bar stools a month ago for my kitchen counter. They are beautiful, well constructed and sturdy. My boy friend is 6'2" & 275 lbs. and they are comfortable for him. They arrived within a week via UPS ( to Oregon) and were packaged securely. Assembly was very easy, I did it myself ( 50 yr. old woman) in about 20 minutes.

My bar stools arrived in beautiful condition, in only 4 days. I had selected the expresso wood finish versus the ebony. However, what arrived may be called expresso but it is black. The contrast with the brown upper is clear. Unfortunately, black doesn't work with my beautiful warm brown wood bar. So I will have to return them. However, the quality and style of these barstools looked great. If you don't mind black wood base, I would recommend them. However, if you wanted expresso, you will be disappointed.

After comparing prices at several sources, I bought four of these stools. They assembled easily with no problems. They look great around our kitchen island and are so comfortable that our guests stay too long! My only complaint is that I want to order two more and Overstock is sold out of black.

We had ordered 4 of these stools in June and then another 3 in late September since they were so nice. The leather is of good quality and the stool is very comfortable. They look great at the black granite countertop in our kitchen and now the wooden bar in our family room. Great value and style.

The barstools are very soft and comfortable, and they look great at my bar. I did receive one of the barstools damaged, but when I called customer service, the lady was extremely helpful, and I should receive a replacement in a few days. I would definitely recommend these barstools to a friend.

Ordered one chair to make sure we liked them - it came all beat up and missing hardware. Ordered second chair and it came in wrong color. Now I have ordered 5 chairs and hope they will all be correct. The one thing the description misses is the back of the chair. The top 1/3 or so is one piece of leather and then the lower back is divided into two sections held together by a zipper (no visible zipper pull). I'm a little concerned about the zipper separating (why would they not just sew it together?), but other than that they really are very nice chairs. They are sturdy; not tippy at all. Comfortable and easy to get on and off. Assembly is very easy - just 8 screws to tighten with an allen wrench. And the leather all the way up the sides and back will avoid the scratches/dents we have on our upstairs chairs from crashing into the countertop. It has been quite a challenge to find full leather seats that swivel, in black with black legs, so... thanks, Overstock!

We purchased 2 stools and really like them. The only frustration was that the assembly instructions are not included. Take the advice of another review and email/call Overstock as soon as you purchase the stools so you will be able to assemble them when they arrive. They are super comfortable and the swivel is a great feature. VERY easy to assemble and I am not at all good at assembling things.

These stools are really nice looking and are very sturdy and comfortable. My only quibble is they are not a set, so the price got up there for 2. However, I am not in the least sorry because they will last the rest of my lifetime and the leather is beautiful.
