I purchased the brown leather storage bench for my new home and love it. There have been many compliments on it as well. I couldn't believe how well made it is, very sturdy (including the hinges) and spacious. I purchased quite a few pieces from Overstock to fill my larger home and have been very satisfied with Overstock overall. You just can't beat the prices, quality and customer service.

I live in Manhattan so driving around to furniture stores is not really practical nor is it a viable option. Overstock has therefor become my saving grace for a number of household items and this last time was no exception. For anyone considering not buying this item-- I urge you to reconsider-- it is beautiful and the velvet lining on the inside makes it a great "safe" place for guest down comforters, blankets, games....whatever. I currently have it set up in my hallway where it adds charm, beauty and is the perfect finishing touch. The warm chocolate brown goes with anything including black. It was incredibly easy to set up, shipping was fast...to say I am pleased is an understatement; I am absolutely thrilled. For new yorkers or anyone with space constraints-- this is perfect for extra seating, storage or simply for looks.

I bought this storage bench about a month ago--after reading the reviews. It is just as nice as everyone indicated. It is very sturdy--as both my husband and I sit on it in the morning to get ready (we have it at the bottom of our king bed). The quality is outstanding--especially for the price. I did a lot of searching before I decided to buy this one--it is by far, much better than anything else out there in this price range. I would definitely recommend it.

The dark brown leather is very rich looking. The workmanship is superb. The storage area is more substantial than I thought it would be. Delivery was exceptional. Thank Overstock.

Overall, I'm quite pleased with the bench - the leather is beautiful. The only problem that we had was with one of the legs. The hardware to attach it broke immediately, and we had to implement a work-around to get the leg attached. Otherwise, I think it looks beautiful and is very functional in our bedroom. Definitely recommend it.

This is a very nice and functional piece. The leather is good quality and the only assembly was to screw the legs on, which took about 3 minutes. This will serve as great extra seating for guests while hiding my kids' backpacks. Excellent value for the money.

It was beautiful in the photo and it surpassed my expectations once i received it. The cover is heavy but its very sturdy. I wish i had gotten another one for the guest bedroom.

This looks very expensive and nice at the foot of my king size bed. I was able to empty my dresser drawers of all my winter sweats and hoodies. You can store a ton of stuff in this bench. I also sit on it to put my makeup on each morning and put on my socks and shoes. It is very well made and took me about 2 minutes to put the feet on. I am not handy at all, so anyone could do it. Great purchase and very nice leather.

I was cruising the internet for a while, trying to decide exactly what I wanted. I debated over this item and others for months and finally settled on this bench. While I would have liked something even longer to sit at the foot of our cal king, this bench has the best quality, appearance, size and value for what I was looking for. It looks terrifc, feels hefty in a good-quality sort of way, was easy to assemble (just add feet, if you want) and provides enough storage space. Arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I'll also add that the hinged flip top is the perfect amount of stiffness such that our toddler cannot open the top and get fingers caught, nor can he close it without a good amount of effort, also protecting his fingers. Not difficult for the adults to open/close, however. We use the bench to keep our laundry hidden away in laundry bags vs. in baskets.

We love the bench- all you have to do is assemble the legs on to it. It is a great deal and looks great in our living room. We keep couch blankets in it.

I saw this exact bench in a store for $500 - my husband was so happy we got it from Overstock. It is big and sturdy with lots of storage. We had no problem installing the feet - I did notice a small scratch in the leather - so I think if you have pets you will have to watch because it scratches easily - but it's not terrible. Just be careful. I have this bench for storage, under the window in my NYC apartment - it looks great and adds additional seating. Gotta love Overstock!

My dh and I are so pleased with this bench! The workmanship is fantastic, the hinges are heavy duty, the padded top is firm yet comfortable, and the inside is very nicely lined. We have placed it at the foot of our bed and it just looks fabulous. The height is perfect for sitting on. I also wanted to add that they provide rubber pads to place on the bottom of the feet which was good due to the fact we have wood floors.

I love, love, love this bench. The leather on it is beautiful...a very rich brown. We placed it in our bedroom for additional storage space, but it also makes a wonderful sitting spot right by our window. It is also extremely well made. A very good buy...

I looked at several benches on this website and reviewed previous purchasers comments prior to buying. This is a well constructed, durable bench with quite a bit of room for storage and it is comfortable to sit on too.

Oh My God, This bench is absolutely beautiful. It came in about a week and my husband and I could not believe the quality of craftsmanship of this item, especially for the price, you could easily pay 2 to 3 times as much for a piece of this quality. The inside lining is top quality and it has locking hinges as well. I highly recommend this product.

I had search for months for a leather bench. This one was far superior to anything I found anywhere. The large storge area inside is a big plus. The lid hinges are heavy duty. I am not afraid that this will fall apart. Great buy.

True bycast leather (genuine leather). Not the coated fabric called as bycast leather on this same site. I tried one of those and had to return it. The process did show that the customer service is great. Good external appeal. Very solid. Good hardware except the screws used for the hinge or maybe just the application of them. They don't look as neat as they should. The material under the lining inside feels a little flimsy when checking. Not sure what kind of board but does not affect the usage.
