Just got my storage bench yesterday and am even happier than I thought I would be. The leather is so nice and soft. The lining on the inside is really nice and it opens very smoothly. I was worried my 3 year old would get her fingers pinched but it I think it is too heavy for her to open (but not too heavy for me). I am very happy - the quality is the best I have seen of anything like it in stores. My mom saw it and when I told her to guess how much I paid she said $1,000. Can't beat the shipping either!

Rich luxurious leather, deep dark black in color, excellent product. Very solid and sturdy. Solid hinges and nicely lined inside, great craftmanship.

I was looking for a leather storage bench for some time and finally found this one around Christmas time. I purchased it and couldn't be happier with the quality and price I paid. What a nice piece. I use at the foot of my bed and store my sheets for my CAL KING bed. It's holding 6 sets of flannel and 9 sets of egyptain cotton. I didn't think this chest would be deep enough for me but it has quite the storage space. I'm sorry I didn't buy more. I've had this for 2 1/2 years now and the leather and the stitching is STILL in great shape and color.

I have looked at several furniture stores. For a storage bench, for the foot of my bed. The cost of what benches that I came across were so high in price, and the quality of some of them was great. But however some of great quality, was not, in all that I saw. When I came across this bench on Overstock.com I thought about it for a while, before I actually made the decision to order it. I was not sure if I wanted the brown or the black . I finally made the decision, to order the black one. Due to the fact, that black matches everthing. WOW, I am so glad that I did order this unit. This Storage Bench is the Same quality that I seen at stores for double and three times more the cost. This is a perfect fit at the foot of my bed. I have a full size bed and it is almost as wide. and almost as tall. The depth of the bench is perfect to. It fits two, standard size pillow shams, with pillows in them. And four throw pillows as well. When not in use. It keeps the mess off the floor when I just don't feel like making the bed. I'm sure you know what I mean by that. Sometimes we just get lazy and don't feel like making the bed. This bench is by far the best item that I have purchased from the O. If you are looking for the perfect storage bench. Stop looking, and buy this one. You will not regret it. I would bet, that you would like to put one of these benches, at the foot of every bed in your home. Once you get one, You just might get more. This bench, is a must buy!

i was looking quite awhile for a leather storage ottoman. 800.00 to 1200.00 is the general price range i found for a unit of this quality. the leather is durable, the stitching fair, not perfect. the interior lined and spacious. if your looking for dual function, this might be for you at this price.

This is an excellent product. It arrived within 4 days of ordering. After reading other reviews I was a little concerned about assembling the legs but they went on without a problem in less than 10 minutes. (The enclosed tools is useless, us a screwdriver or drill with the correct bit). The odor was a bit strong but a quick shot of Febreeze and airing it out overnight did the trick. The piece is beautiful with a lot of extra storage and is a great place to sit while I'm putting on my shoes.

I bought this bench to store our pillows in and because it seemed to be the right price for what you get. In general, it is pretty good. BUT, unless you have some tools and handy knowledge, you might be upset...this thing is made in China. I'm sorry but things from China are poor in quality compared to many american items. When I tried to put the legs on, 2 of the fasteners stripped right out of the bench. I had to take out the bottom liner and spend 2 hours being creative in fixing it and I still had difficulty. I didn't want the hassle of sending it back since I am handy. I eventually did get the feet to work but it took 2 hours of labor, a large screwdriver, a staple gun, a large alen wrench, some elmers glue, wood chips and patience. If you doncare about the feet then this is a good bench. Seems pretty solid otherwise.

This is a wonderful addition to our den. Delivery was quick and assembly was a snap. We use it for extra pillows & linens, and it serves as a soft bench to put our feet, while sitting on the daybed. We were very pleased to find that the dark brown color was a perfect adjunct to the new daybed purchased a few weeks ago. First time purchase via Overstock and we will definitely purchase more items!

This bench was exactly as it appeared - plenty of storage and only had to assemble the legs. Perfect!

I bought this bench 3 years ago and it's still in excelllent shape. It's made very well, and it looks great. The storage is deep enough inside to hold blankets and several other items. This was a great purchase!

This is a quality ottoman. I have two kids and they haven't been able to do a thing to this ottoman. It's quality is beyond what I expected. I've had this for little over a year now and it was worth every penny. You might be able to find a cheaper ottoman, but if you want one that will last and looks stunning, I would get this one.

I purchased this bench five years ago. I can truly say that it looks as good now as it did upon delivery, even surviving two floods! As everyone else has said, the bench is sturdy, solid, well-made, and uber functional. The aniline leather and lined inside spell "quallity." To boot, it's about 50 bucks cheaper now than it was then. Don't hesitate!

This storage bench is made of the very best quality materials. It is a great value for the money, especially with the low shipping cost. Plenty of room inside and very durable for sitting on. The only thing we noticed is that the inside has a strong odor to it. We placed scented drawer liner sheets and a sachet inside to help with that "new smell" that seems to linger for quite some time. We love this item so much we may even purchase another one. A definite must have!

I bought this bench over two years ago and and it is still in awesome shape!! My two boys (10,5)sit/jump all over it while they play video games in the living room! The leather is still perfect. I keep all my photos and photo albums in it so it is very heavy but not too heavy that I cannot move it to vacuum underneath it when I need to. I LOOOOOOVE IT!!! I wanna buy another one...

I was extremely satisfied with my purchase! The leather quality is far more superior than ones that I had been shopping for locally. It is extremely well made all the way from the hinges to the lining. It looks as nice as the expensive Italian leather sofa that I have in the room and complements it very well. It was easy to assemble and was filled with blankets and pillows and in use within 30 minutes of delivery. I have already received several compliments from guests who can't believe it came from Overstock!

We were looking for a black leather ottoman that could be used for storage. It is very difficult to find black... most are usually a dark brown/espresso shade. We ordered this one and are very pleased... good quality, sturdy frame with nice leather, no assembly required, decent amount of storage space, etc. It is a nice accent in our living room and the price was much better than what we were finding at various furniture stores. It was delivered to us in less than a week, and with Overstock's great shipping prices, you can't beat it!

This is a great piece, It was hard to find one this size most storage benches are much smaller. I use this to store my decorative pillows when turning down the bed at night however you can use this for bulky sweaters & linens w/ no problem. It has plenty of room. The only assembly on this is screwing on the 4 feet...no brainer! Would definitely recommend
