Just got my storage bench yesterday and am even happier than I thought I would be. The leather is so nice and soft. The lining on the inside is really nice and it opens very smoothly. I was worried my 3 year old would get her fingers pinched but it I think it is too heavy for her to open (but not too heavy for me). I am very happy - the quality is the best I have seen of anything like it in stores. My mom saw it and when I told her to guess how much I paid she said $1,000. Can't beat the shipping either!

I love the storage bench. Not only is it a beautiful piece for the bedroom, it's functional too! I was also very pleased with the quality. What a great buy!

This is a wonderful addition to our den. Delivery was quick and assembly was a snap. We use it for extra pillows & linens, and it serves as a soft bench to put our feet, while sitting on the daybed. We were very pleased to find that the dark brown color was a perfect adjunct to the new daybed purchased a few weeks ago. First time purchase via Overstock and we will definitely purchase more items!

I recently bought my first home, and needed to purchase a few furniture pieces. I had been warned about purchasing furniture online (you never know about the quality, can be damaged during shipping, doesn't look like the pic online, etc.). I'm happy to say that I experienced NONE of these issues with this purchase! I couldn't be happier with the storage bench that I bought. It arrived quickly, with zero damage, was easy to assemble (just need to attach the feet) and is absolutely beautiful. It really is better looking than the pic online, and is a great addition to any room. Mine is in the foyer/living room entrance & gets compliments from everyone who walks into the room. If you are reading this review, then you are obviously considering this purchase... stop "consdering" and just do it! You won't be disappointed! :-)

We were looking for a black leather ottoman that could be used for storage. It is very difficult to find black... most are usually a dark brown/espresso shade. We ordered this one and are very pleased... good quality, sturdy frame with nice leather, no assembly required, decent amount of storage space, etc. It is a nice accent in our living room and the price was much better than what we were finding at various furniture stores. It was delivered to us in less than a week, and with Overstock's great shipping prices, you can't beat it!

This is my second bench for storage from Overstock. The first was chocolate brown for my master bedroom and this one is black for my guest room. It is perfect for storing pillows and blankets for my wall bed. Beautiful!

This storage bench is perfect for anyone who is "baby proofing" for the first time. It is elegant-looking and safe at the same time. It is the perfect size and shape.

Very nice, well constructed bench. A great size, comfortable for seating. I am using it as window seating. I looked at other benches not this nice for 2-3X the money. The lined storage area has plenty of room. Don't hesitate, well worth the money. I ordered it on a Monday and received on Friday.

the storage bench was ripped by the bottom staples. When it arrived we were very carfull and cut the cardboard .with a sissor. We noticed that the very bottom of the leather was ripped. Customer service was very nice to us. But this unit was packaged incorrectly.

I placed this product at the end of my bed for storage and for use as an occasional seat. I was worried ,when I came home from work, to find that the box was left outside by UPS, sitting in the snow all day. Luckily, it was packaged well and there was no damage. I've had it for a couple of months now and have had no problems with it. It looks great. I definitely recommend it. It looks and feels like a high quality product.

i waited a year to buy this because i was afraid of spending so much on something i couldn't see firsthand. i'm so glad i took the plunge and purchased it. it is beautiful, sturdy and very expensive looking. it is worth every penny!

2 years later I still love this bench. We use it in the living room as sleek storage for toys. It's sturdy enough to provide extra seating at parties, and looks great. The only drawback is that the top is heavy, so we added a couple heavy duty anti-slam toybox hinges so we don't need to worry about the top slamming down on little fingers. With the new hinges, it's perfect.

The bench is beautiful, and the leather quality excellent. We have a high king-size bed, and this is at the foot. It holds 2 oversized king pillows, and 2 regular pillows, with room for a couple thin blankets. It holds the comforter (folded in half) on top, while washing the bedding! It's the perfect size to sit and put shoes on. Just love it!! It serves all the purposes we wanted it to! Looked at all the local furniture stores, and couldn't even find a leather bench, not to mention, the appropriate size of it to accommodate a king-size bed. The legs took my husband all of about 5 minutes to screw on. Easy!!

Looks much more expensive that what actually was, very decent workmanship, althought the interior lining could have been a little better, but again for that price that would be too much to ask, shipped in a heartbeat, and it looked perfect! Couldn't find anything like at the local furniture stores, and whatever they had were way overpriced, excelent value!!
