Haven't had the chairs long, so can't attest to their durability, but they look amazing!Nice leather, nice wood and carvings, and easy yet sturdy assembly.

Purchased two. Excellent value for the money and prompt delivery. Assembly of first was a bit difficult regarding the arms. The second went much smoother.

This chair is exactly as pictured in the photograph and was perfect for my needs. The assembly directions were rather vague and the page included in my box was smeared so badly it wasn't very helpful. I've assembled enough other pieces to be able to figure this one out and had it completed in less than 30 minutes, so anyone with basic skills should have the same results as me. It arrived well packaged and very quickly, which has been my experience with other products from Overstock.com. The chair is well constructed, solid, and very elegant. It is not a petite chair...a man can sit comfortably in it, yet it isn't too bulky either. It was just the "accent" I needed in our family room and provides a nice extra place to sit when we have guests. If you're considering purchasing this chair, you won't be disappointed!

We are very happy with the pair of these chairs we purchased. The price was very affordable for an expensive look. Putting them together was neither easy nor difficult because my husband is good at such things. They are a good quality and look beautiful with the carving, nailheads and French style. We recommend them.

The chairs are gorgeous, with a rich, classic look. I bought two and put them in our study. They are much bigger than they seem in the picture. I'm short, so I need a pillow behind my back to sit comfortably. My husband is 6'1" tall, and he fits very comfortably in this chair. Most pretty chairs are too small for him, but this one is perfect!

The chair is a fine looking accent chair and adds a touch of black to any decor. Instructions were poorly written and almost unreadable as they were very washed out on paper. Having read previous reviews gave me clues as to putting it together. Would recommend as an occasionally-used accent chair

I would have given this chair 5 stars except for the instructions. I guess I should have known intuitively to not tighten up the bolts as I went-----but I didn't. When I tried to put the last arm rest and leg on, it wouldn't fit. I had to take the whole thing apart and also REMOVED THE SEAT FROM THE FRAME (the instructions say nothing about doing this). TO GET EVERYTHING TO ALIGN YOU MUST DO THIS. Then, starting from scratch, I started again, removing the seat from the frame, putting the bolts in just a little more than finger tight; re-installed the seat and then tightened up. It took me 4 hours to properly assemble the first chair. The second one only took a little over 1/2 an hour.

This is a great chair. The leather is good quality for this price point. My husband assembled it in 15 mins w/o looking at the instructions, but he's fabulous like that. There was a spot where the wood had splinted, maybe an 1/8", but some wood glue and it's hardly noticable. I would strongly recommend.
