I have a 'red' and 'chile pepper' theme in my kitchen, so I really wanted red handled flatware. I've been through two sets, one Oneida, and one Fiesta, with disappointing results. The tang didn't run to the end of the utensils, and therefore, eventually they would bend and break. I finally found LePrix, which has a full tang, and I was thrilled to find the matching hostess set on Overstock, at O.co pricing! The red ABS plastic handles are securely attached to the metal. The set is very attractive for a casual dining experience.
