i think the set is designed beautifully.I wish Laura Ashley would give a sheet count choice, they are so pretty ,but once you start sleeping on higher thread counts you can't go back,but then again, it would cost more.Great product for the money

I absolutely loved the Laura Ashely Comforter Set, and had my eye on it for a while. I finally ordered it.I love everything about the set except for the comforter itself. It is very stiff. And very thick, not heavy, but stiff and thick, so it sort of scrapes up your skin during the night. The sheets and pillow cases however are soft and comfy. I am hoping that if I can get the comforter into a washing machine, it is very large, that it will soften up with a bit of Downey... If not, I may definitely have to return it, regardless of how beautiful it looks. Sorry.
