I returned this item because the steam output was not as strong as I liked. I may be biased as I am used to working with commercial/industrial strength steamers, but in general it was not going to work as I had hoped. It took as long or longer to steam my clothes and at times I would have needed to iron some parts of my clothing as well. I might as well keep the iron out and iron it all then.... I will say that the quality of the product was very strudy and didn't seem cheap.

I bought this for extra hanging space for my work garments and jackets. I assembled it fairly easily and placed my garments on. In the middle of the night, I hear a thump and turn on my light to find that the whole thing has crashed down, and the plastic joints have split in two places. I lowered the heights of both rods, thinking that the lower they were, the sturdier they'd be, and using duct tape, I made the joints stronger - but this meant that once I found the height I wanted, I couldn't adjust it after the tape is placed on. The tape is ugly (even though I bought a pretty, bright pink color) but I figured it is only going to be in a corner of my bedroom, so who cares? Bottom line is: the tape only held out for so long (about 8 months) until it just broke again last night. I feel that I've thrown $** bucks down the drain and I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

Jiffy steamers are great products. I have used them professionally and they work consistently well. I saw this one and knew it was a great price so purchased it for home use. I knew the base would be pink and some $ from the purchase went to breast cancer research and awareness, but I had no idea that pink ribbons would be printed along the black hose. It's a bit much with the bubblegum pink base. I like the steamer and will keep it, although I will try to remove the printed ribbons. The steamer works well although I wish they made these with 7' hoses and not 5'. Great ironing alternative especially for someone who loves pink.

The steamer works well, but you will still need an iron for heavier items. It cuts down on dry cleaning costs. I am happy with it.

I remember using a big bulky steamer back in my retail days. Though I hated how it took FOREVER to heat up, it worked magic once it started going. I remember thinking I'd love to have a smaller version for home use. Now with the Jiffy J-2000, I've got one!!Product arrived very fast, and the easy assembly takes 5 mins tops. What I really like about this steamer is the convenience. It starts steaming in a matter of seconds!! It glides over carpet very smoothly too. Now I can get wrinkles out way faster than ironing, and also save a trip to the drycleaners---especially when it comes to delicate fabrics. The only time I prefer my iron over this steamer is if I need to starch something. My only comment is the hose length. While quite suitable for steaming clothing, its too short for bigger projects like (hung) curtains. But since I'm not steaming those often enough for it to be a concern, I rate this 5 stars. And due to my satisfaction and frequent use of this product, I'm now considering buying some for gifts.

This steamer is by far the best that I have found and worth the money. Plus it was made in the USA. Just wish it had clips on the bottom of the pole to help be a 3rd hand to hold the bottoms of pant legs etc., so i dont burn my fingers. plus, it's PINK! Very sturdy construction and water does not squirt out the nozzle head top like with cheaper models.

the steamer is very useful and cut my ironing time. It steams my silk dresses very nicely and quickly. The only thing is because it is a steamer it cannot iron "corners" as regular iron to give it a clean look but does a quick drop of steaming wrinkly clothes. The only down side it is quite a heavy machine hence if you want to lug it around for storage it is heavy other than that the wheels are helpful to move around.

If you need a home steamer, this is it! Very convenient and easy to move and use. Doesn't feel flimsy, which is good considering your working with hot, steamy water. Daughter works in bridal store (where they steam daily) and she is impressed. Did a lot of research and almost bought Rowena (I own their iron) but read that Jiffy's are sturdier and built to last. I'm sold.

This steamer takes some practice to use, but it heats up quickly and is surprisingly heavy-duty. Not as good as an iron to get a good crisp finish, but effective for a quick touch-up.

The hangers arrived quickly and I was happy to find they were of much better quality than the package of similarly styled hangers I had considered buying at a local discount department store. The price was also much better per hanger, too! I hung all my blouses, tops, jackets, dresses, and skirts (flipped over the lower bar of the hanger) with out any problems. I also hung thin sweaters flipped over the lower hanger bar. In a month I have not had any broken hangers, but I do not hang jeans or heavy sweaters. One thing to note: the neck (hook) of the hanger does not swivel -- it is stationary -- which is why I gave the design a "good" rating instead of "excellent". The raspberry (pink) color does not leave lint on clothing, and the style allowed me to properly hang blouses and dresses that were previouly only able to dangle by their straps from the neck of the hanger. The best thing: my completely full closet is now only half full -- these hanges really save a lot of space.

This is the first garment steamer I have ever purchased. I have only used it a couple of times but I am very happy with the results. What use to take me 2 hours with an iron took me 30 minutes. The results are very good. It was easy to fill and use. If you are looking for crisp creases you will need to use an iron.I cant judge durability yet. Overstock you are great. I recieved my order within days. The previous reviews really helped me choose this product and I am glad I did.

Could use a trigger to release steam instead of steam in continous motion.

I have used all kinds of hangers before. I was looking for something that would save space. I tried to convert my closet to the Wonder Hangers. They performed as said, but did not work for me personally. I didn't think they saved space, also it was difficult to figure out where to hang clothes after they were laundered and many times I couldn't find what I was looking for because I couldn't see everything clearly since they were cascaded vertically. However, these ClutterFREE hangers really do save space, also have the bonus of clothes not falling off and the fact that if you want to hang something together it has the tiny hook available (which can also be used to hang a matching necklace on). O, they also have indentations for small strappy items (not that they need them since stuff doesn't slip, but it is nice. I just love these hangers. Also, when not in use the little hooks fit into one another so the hangers really fit against each other snug and save more space. I liked the Bubble Gum Pink color, it brightens the closet. By the way, I read some reviews before that the fuzzy coating on the hangers that keeps clothes from slipping does come off. That is not true from my experience. There were no in the bags from shipping and nothing has came off on my clothes or in my closet. Speaking of shipping, the hangers were packed very good. Each set of about 25 were encased in plastic and the corners and top (where the hooks are) had a spongy plastic stuff taped to them to prevent damage to the hangers or the box. I am very happy with this purchase.

What else can I say that hasn't already been said, this has been the BEST INVESTMENT my money could buy when it comes to professional steamers! And believe me, I've spent my share in trying to find the best one out there when it came to steamers. As it's namesake indicts, it heats up in a jiffy indeed!! And it doesn't even take up to much space either. I absolutely love it and am highly satisfied with my purchase. Thank you Jiffy for making the best there is as well as Overstock delivering it in such a speedy timely manner via standard shipping.

I have had three garment steamers and the last one was the most expensive and after much research, highly rated. It died after less then one year and I wanted to find one which was better and again, I did quite a bit research. Apparently Jiffy is the best unless you want a professional steamer you may need for a company. I received this one last week, just in time to steam my huge winter wardrobe. At first I was doubtful because of the watts and small tank. I am more then pleased to say it is a work horse. The design is excellent!! It is far more powerful then any steamer I have had and the smaller tank means nothing, so easy to fill with regular water, not distilled. It also uses less water then my previous steamers so I find no difference, except the superior steaming ability. If you want to steam heavy cotton, I do not think any steamer will do the job. My wardrobe consists of knits, wool/cashmere and silk. It is fantastic for any similar cloth. All and all, this is the best little machine I have used and I clocked many hours during the past few days. Finally, Overstock beat every price I found. Thank you Overstock!!

I am a wedding planner and need a really great steamer that can be easily packed up and moved. This one is great. I love it so much that I use it on all my own clothes at home. It works really well.

I'm pretty happy with the steamer - it produces steam quickly and the water lasts a long time. My only complaint is that the hose isn't long enough to reach the top of a garment that you've hung from a door frame (which is necessary because the attached rod isn't long enough to hang a garment from either). I would recommend the product.

Bought this for my husband who hates to iron. He loves it! I used it on some slipcovers and it worked great. Really cuts down on getting those pesky wrinkles out. Enjoy

Fortunately, careful laundering of your bath towels can reduce the germ count. Knowing how to sanitize bath towels effectively reduces the spread of illness in your home and prevents musty odors on towels. The process is simple, and all you need in addition to your regular laundry essentials are a few extras. This article will help you learn how to sanitize bath towels.
