    I rated this a 4 because it is not the top of the line nor the least expensive.. This unit is portable and is just the right size to fit my wife's needs. It generates plenty of heat to a specific area allowing the thermostat to be turned down a few notches so we aren't wasting heating any unwanted space......

    This was perfect for me especially when you are unable to have a real fireplace. I was looking at wall mounts and something small for the bedroom. For me this was a perfect size for my bedroom. It's very light to pick up and small enough to fit on a dresser. You could put this anywhere you want in any room and not have to worry about dismounting anything and perfect to move anywhere anytime. It fits any outlet and is very easy to use. No assembly required you just take it out of the box and plug it in. The heat this kicks out is very powerful and heats up very fast. I use it only when I want to unwind and mostly just put the fireplace effect on with my candle to relax. Very nice to look at and will buy a CD to play the effects of a real fireplace to make it even better. I am sure you will not be disappointed in this product. The price was so low that I even thought that it would be a waste of a buy and have to admit was skeptical about this but once I took it out of the box and plugged it in I was very much satisfied. My husband and teenagers love it. They are the worse critics ever so if they like it.....this really means that I did pretty good. I am not sure how long this will last but even if it doesn't and the price stays the same I will definitely buy another to replace this. This would also be perfect for a garage and enclosed patios for a little warmth that you may need for cold days/nights. With the price so low you may want to buy a few of them but one right now fits the need that I wanted it for. I really wanted to leave this review because there was none when I bought it at the time and was a little disappointed when this didn't have any reviews because I usually buy after reading them so I winged it and glad that I did.

    I really enjoy my Lasko Ceramic Heater. It heats me very well, I place the heater in front of me when I'm sitting in my family room which is attached to a open kitchen. Due to the room being open, it is hard to heat up the room because it's wide open, but it does the job for me by keeping me warm. I''ve gotten plenty of complements from friends that have come to the house. You can turn on the logs so it looks like a fireplace or you can leave it off. If I used this heater in my bedroom with the door closed, I'm sure that it would blast me out and It would be to hot in my room. Purchasing my heater from Overstock was a deal for me because I searched for this heater at other stores to compare prices and I got the best deal at Overstock. I would recommend this heater.
