    I have sold many of these heaters in various models. this one in particular has been my best seller. The style is not for everyone but it is a unique pedestal style that some do find very attractive. It is slim enough to be located in a smaller spaces without taking up much room. It does a great job of heating the room.

    I'm the type that likes to do a ton of research on something before buying it. I live in New York City and my apt has pretty horrible windows and installation. I can feel cold air coming in through every crevice and even the window plane itself. After enduring the past 4 windows huddling with my two dogs near the one radiator that provides heat sporadically throughout the day, I decided it was time to get a heater. My apt is small, so I needed a small portable heater but one that generates a ton of heat but with two small active dogs, it was important the unit itself wouldn't burn anyone that accidentally brushed up against it. After doing tons of researching, reading through other reviews and narrowing it down to just a couple units, I decided to buy the Lasko 6405 ceramic heater. I saw a picture of it in a room online so I knew to expect a little unit before getting it. It was ready to use straight out of the box, all I needed to do was plug it in. Let me just say this little guy does exactly what I needed. It heats up within seconds I could feel the hot air, some units take time in the beginning to get warm. It does isolate but not fully. Which is fine, I didn't buy it for that reason. I used it in my bedroom and had to turn it off in the middle of the night cause I got too hot. I didn't smell anything strange coming from the unit as others have said, if there was a smell it was probably too faint to bother me. As the unit was pushing out hot air, it felt cool to the touch (aside from the heat grill). It made it easy to move it from place to place. I love this little machine and want another one for my bathroom. If you're on the fence, don't hesitate and get it. You won't regret it.
