This is my 2nd Lasko heater and like my 1st one, it heats a whole (small) room within a few minutes. This little heater can save you lots of money on your heating bill and will only increase your electric bill by about $6 a month.

Bought this heater for my son who has a basement bedroom and lives in a northern state. Generous size bedroom, this heater provides just the right amount of heat he was looking for. Quick delivery, no problems. Would recommend this heater for a one-room use. Always happy with purchases from Overstock and will be using for most of Christmas gifts this year.

This heater was purchased to warm my cold drafty office, it warms the entire office and keeps it warm. It works great and I love the auto turn off feature.

I purchased one in October 2009. I was going to use it in my bedroom but it heated the room to much. I have a smaller Lasko Ceramic Tower Heater in my room now that I purchased last year and moved the other one to a bigger room. I am very satisfied with the heater. Yes I recommend this product.

Because we have only one heating/cooling zone in our house, the downstairs is frigid in the winter. When our old space heater died, I bought this one and am very happy with the purchase! Only on the most frigid nights do I even need to turn the heat up for the entire house. Most nights (when the temp doesn't fall below freezing), I can use just the space heater while I am downstairs watching TV. I like this little heater so much I bought one for my mother in Oregon and she has asked me to buy one for her church group. Love the heat settings and oscillation. It even has a timer. I use it with confidence in the winter when it gets cold. (Even in Florida it gets cold sometimes) I don't like to use the house furnace so just use it in the room I'm in.

I needed this heater and did not expect much . I was very pleased with the performance and the quality of this heater.

Heats up a large room in minutes, of course in FL the weather heated back up, so only got to use it twice. Love it!

I bought two of these to heat my basement (1200 sq. ft finished area). They work quickly (basement warms up 5 degrees in 30 min.) and do not burn too much energy. Good buy

Great little heater! We live in a small apartment and we use it to heat whichever room we are hanging out in. Very portable with a handle on the back side. Heats up instantly. I wouldn't recommend for families with small children as there is no protective grate. If you touch the metal you'll definitely feel it. My dogs love to curl up in their beds close to it, but I have to make sure they don't get too close! Great value.

Each member of my family has loved this heater. It arrived very quickly from Overstock, which is excellent. i am most likely going to purchase a 2nd unit. i have brought home two similar heaters from Costco and we have not been as happy with the results as with the Lasko. Heats well in tandem with central heating although the ceramic element does not force heat out all along the element. It was purchased for my geriatric, arthritic cat who seems to enjoy it but he must be propped up on a box to get the flow of the heat coming from the element. Not worth the money.
