    Our living room has a high vaulted ceiling and a wall of sliding glass patio doors out to the front deck and is always uncomfortably cold in the fall and winter mornings. This Lasko 5572 has taken the chill out of the air and is quite good looking. It beeps when you plug it in and when you press the power button and the fan does give off a "white noise" which we do not find troublesome. This space heater is perfect for our needs. We recommend it!

    The unit is really good but I just noticed yesterday that there were two cracks on the top surface of the unit. Had I noticed it when I first unwrapped it I would have sent it back.....I have destroyed packing and sending it back would probably cost me too. I will try to repair with glue!!
