    This is my third Ceramic heater from Lasko. They work! Do not use a lot of electric. Very quiet. Today, I woke up at six A.M. and the outside temperature was 8 degree, not including the wind chill. My family room where the heater was on all night was 72° and nice and toasty warm. I purchased two of those LifeSaver heaters last year and my electric usage was never higher in the seventeen years in our home.

    • Hello swubbindee, I'm happy I got your question because I just bought this before Christmas. The lowest temp is 39 degrees. Before this heater I had only owned the little square heaters that last about a year. I highly recommend this one. The quality seems really good. I like that is has a timer and also a thermostat, It also rotates. Have a great day!
