Large Silk Vanda Orchid Plant with Root Base

This is a beautiful faux orchid. It is made from a material that does not fray like the silk material. The petals and leaves are very real to the touch, and the overall design is striking. I have some live orchids, and this one is very close to a live one in appearance. Unfortunately, I've never been successful in growing a vanda orchid, so I got the next best thing. If you are familiar with live orchids, you will not be disappointed with this one. It needs some arranging after being shipped, but just look at the picture if you're not familiar with the vanda, and use it as a guide. Great purchase, great value.

This is a really life-like looking orchid and a beautiful accent piece. I got the peach and am very pleased. You so have to adjust the flower petals some, but it is easy to do, and you can get whatever effect you want. I don't think the flowers are silk -- I think they are made of that foam, but it does not diminish the real look of the orchid. I would purchase another, if I had a place for it!

Good Product - was missing a piece that you see in the photo --- It showed on the green/peach - but not on the burgandy -- I will try to find at a store --- I liked that piece. You will need to refer back to the photo after you recieve so you can "spruce" up the flowers; leaves etc..... But it is a pretty piece.............

I just received the plant and it was packaged as if it were live. Once unboxed, it takes about ten minutes and a photo reference to bend the leaves and position the blooms to capture optimum realism. Be not mistaken! This is a large colorful display. I believe the price is most honest, and that the plant would retail for the amount stated on the page. I expect people to touch the leaves, which are especially realistic. The display is too large for where I had intended to place it, but I have found an alternative that works well, and am placing it near a light slider, which is what someone would do with a live specimen displayed indoors. Fun!
