Ugly hose outside the vessel
The vessel arrived promptly and was not damaged. It was beautiful and the color fit perfectly in the bath rehab we're doing. The problem, (and it didn't occur to me that it would be manufactured like this so I didn't look for it) was that it had a fairly large hole carved out of it towards the top. Into this one is supposed to attach a black plastic plug connected to a large clear plastic hose. The hose runs down the OUTSIDE of the vessel and connects to the drain. This is the overflow valve. This would be extremely UGLY if set up as instructed and, with that big hole, there is no choice. Why the manufacturer would construct a vessel, which is designed to sit on top of the counter like a bowl, to include this monstrosity is beyond me but, much as I liked the vessel's design and color, I had to send it back. Just a note; we have other vessels in our home and rental unit that do not have, and do not need, an overflow valve.
