Large Rectangular Tilt Frameless Bathroom Mirror with Beveled Edge

You have to understand I REALLY wanted a rectangular tilt mirror for my gust bath remoded and this was the only one I found; I really wanted it to work. Like I said, both the mirror itself and the hardware seem to be high quality products. However, once you've attached the hardware to the wall, the mirror slides onto a bolt, right onto its metal threads. That is, the holes drilled into the glass mirror are directly resting on the metal threads. When you tilt the mirror the metal threads cause the glass around the hole to chip. There ought to be a nylon bushing, not just 3 washers, so the glass mirror can rest safely and securely on the nylon while allowing the mirror to tilt without chipping. I suppose I could have called the manufacturer to see if they had a solution, but instead decided on something else entirely. Overstock was very accommodating with the return. Quite a disappointment, particularly after the 1st shipment arrived w/ a shattered mirror! :-(

• How is the quality of the product? Both the mirror itself and the hardware seem to be high quality products; however the way the mirror mounts to the hardware is seriously flawed.
• Did the description onsite accurately describe the product? For the most part; from the picture you can't tell that the hardware is completely hidden behind the mirror, I had expected it to stick out on the sides.
