I bought three of these for our "teen" media room. At first we did not buy the footstools and the bags were sort of uncomfortable. I highly recommend you purchase the memory foam ottomans that go along with these bags. Once I bought three ottomans and a bunch of comfy pillows these memory foam loungers became the biggest hit in the house! They are inexpensive yet incredibly comfortable. We have a wonderful media room now -- and I completed the entire project well under my budget thanks to Overstock!
First of all I was amazed how quickly this was shipped to us. Unpacking and decompressing were no problem at all. And this is a really good looking piece of furniture. We ordered the chocolate brown and it is a very nice color, true to description. It was bit overstuffed for my liking, I wanted to be able to sink down in it a bit, more like a bean bag. When I unzipped it I was disappointed to find that there is no inner lining, the cover was just stuffed with foam, no way to remove the foam to wash the cover without a huge mess. AND my "memory foam" was nowhere to be seen! I removed handsfull of the foam and found only a tiny piece of what could be called "memory foam". The rest is what appears to be waste foam from many different places, including carpet padding.I am a bit upset for having paid for memory foam and not getting any. Overall it isn't bad for an overpriced foam beanbag. I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for memory foam.
We needed cheap furniture for the sunroom so I ordered two big bean bags and the two coordinating cube/footstools. They've been a huge hit. The kids adore them and the dogs are all nuts for them (I'm never buying another dog bed again, it's going to be these). They jump into the center and snuggle down, and they're large enough that you can get multiple bodies in them. The adults love them, too. It's great cheap informal furniture. The one thing I'd change: Make the covers zip-off so we could launder them.
This thing is amazing as far as I am concerned. I have a 14 year old and when he has friends over, they all fight to sit in it (it can fit two of them) and even sleep on it. It IS very comfortable and it looks so fresh and clean and neat....not like the cheap beanbag chairs. I will say this thing is HUGE. You need to have a basement or the space to keep it in, though. Be prepared because you cannot ship this baby back. (I mean, you probably could....but good luck! LOL)
This bag is incredibly comfortable; it is hard to make yourself get up when the time comes. It is a tad lumpy, but that doesn't affect the comfort factor; it would probably only bother you if you were a real perfectionist and felt it necessary to have a fully homogeneous bag. As for me, i only wish it were cheaper so i could buy another.
