I am so disappointed with this purchase. It is to heavy , the memory foam is a BAD idea for this type of chair and it is VERY uncomfortable. I am VERY disappointed in this purchase I wish I could send it back but by the time it grows to it's full size you would need heavy equipment to compact it enough to get it into a waderobe box. VERY DISAPPOINTED indeed.

Perfect for Kids
seattlesoccermom  from Seattle, WA,  Oct 23, 2009
I bought three of these for our "teen" media room. At first we did not buy the footstools and the bags were sort of uncomfortable. I highly recommend you purchase the memory foam ottomans that go along with these bags. Once I bought three ottomans and a bunch of comfy pillows these memory foam loungers became the biggest hit in the house! They are inexpensive yet incredibly comfortable. We have a wonderful media room now -- and I completed the entire project well under my budget thanks to Overstock!

Where's my memory!
joyfuldesert  from California,  Oct 22, 2009
First of all I was amazed how quickly this was shipped to us. Unpacking and decompressing were no problem at all. And this is a really good looking piece of furniture. We ordered the chocolate brown and it is a very nice color, true to description. It was bit overstuffed for my liking, I wanted to be able to sink down in it a bit, more like a bean bag. When I unzipped it I was disappointed to find that there is no inner lining, the cover was just stuffed with foam, no way to remove the foam to wash the cover without a huge mess. AND my "memory foam" was nowhere to be seen! I removed handsfull of the foam and found only a tiny piece of what could be called "memory foam". The rest is what appears to be waste foam from many different places, including carpet padding.I am a bit upset for having paid for memory foam and not getting any. Overall it isn't bad for an overpriced foam beanbag. I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for memory foam.

We needed cheap furniture for the sunroom so I ordered two big bean bags and the two coordinating cube/footstools. They've been a huge hit. The kids adore them and the dogs are all nuts for them (I'm never buying another dog bed again, it's going to be these). They jump into the center and snuggle down, and they're large enough that you can get multiple bodies in them. The adults love them, too. It's great cheap informal furniture. The one thing I'd change: Make the covers zip-off so we could launder them.

Great for kids!
onlineshoppingqueen  from East Coast,  Aug 15, 2009
This thing is amazing as far as I am concerned. I have a 14 year old and when he has friends over, they all fight to sit in it (it can fit two of them) and even sleep on it. It IS very comfortable and it looks so fresh and clean and neat....not like the cheap beanbag chairs. I will say this thing is HUGE. You need to have a basement or the space to keep it in, though. Be prepared because you cannot ship this baby back. (I mean, you probably could....but good luck! LOL)

Amazingly comfortable
khengaskhan  from Clarksville, TN,  Aug 5, 2009
This bag is incredibly comfortable; it is hard to make yourself get up when the time comes. It is a tad lumpy, but that doesn't affect the comfort factor; it would probably only bother you if you were a real perfectionist and felt it necessary to have a fully homogeneous bag. As for me, i only wish it were cheaper so i could buy another.

I have found this bag chair to be somewhat comfortable but not easy to maneuver. It is heavy and bulky and somewhat lumpy. For the money, I expected higher comfort and quality levels. That being said; it is stitched very well and I don't foresee it falling apart. It's on my 3 season porch and is a great place to grab a book, or binoculars to read and bird watch.

I got this lounge bag on a whim (didn't hurt that it wasn't too expensive). It's quite large, about the size of a char and a half. It's super comfortable to lounge around in and I have fallen asleep on it more than once. :) However, there are a few considerations that future buyers should take into account.: 1.) unless you're 5 feet tall, you will need a cushion or pillow for your head as your head will lean too far back. 2.) the ottoman is a must for me. Since you're so low to the ground, it is really much more comfortable to prop your feet up on something. 3.) Older and out of shape people may have difficulty getting up after sitting down on this bag.

lumpy bag
njhflorida  from Florida,  Jun 24, 2009
I was disappointed with the chair for several reasons. First, it is VERY large and doesn't fit well in any of my rooms. Second, the chair is stuffed with "pieces" of memory foam, which makes it feel lumpy. I thought the chair would be one piece of foam, like a mattress. Finally, it was stuffed so full, you couldn't really sit in it. We removed at least a quarter of the stuffing, and boy was that messy. The ottoman we purchased with it is great. I wouldn't buy the chair again. I would look into buying a bean bag chair instead.

I really like mine alot. It took about 4 times to reshape it and i did it every 3 to 4 days until i got it shaped just right. Its very comfortable and it can be reshaped to fit taller people much better if you keep rolling and reshaping it. I think the price was just a little high but I have had it a few weeks now and i am very happy with it.

NOT DISAPPONITED

These chairs are so comfortable. I purchased two and wasn't quite sure if I'd like them that much after reading the reviews that others left. They are beautiful and compliments the decor in my basement so well. I recently had a party and everyone asked where did I find these chairs. I like everything about these chairs and I would buy another one if I had the space for it.

I ordered two chairs after reading the reviews to help diminish any competition for just one chair. I have had the chairs for about 5 months. They are the favorite pieces of furniture in the house. My nephews ranging in ages from 4-14 all love them. They have held up to the abuse that young boys can give to furniture. The adults love them too, Just had a party and was told by several people that they were going to take my chairs home with them. (They are large and not easy to pick up and move, so I knew no one was sneaking out one out of the house)In reference to their size and bulk, they take up a good amount of space, but they do roll pretty easily to reshape when needed. A pillow for your head is sometimes helpful. I also have a foot rest and it is comfortable too. I am 6' tall and find the chair very comfortable. This was a good buy for my home.

Large Memory Foam Lounge Bag
robb123  from New Jersey,  Apr 16, 2009
Online shopping with Overstock is easy. Item arrived within a couple of days. It took a few days for the foam to expand. Once the foam expanded the Chair is pretty comfortable. I recommend getting the foot rest for it as well. Chair is great for sitting around playing games or to watch movies in.

The bag is really nice and comforatable . I got the red it is more of a rust but is is nice. It isn't really memory foam but is is really comfy. It is really heavy and big, when you remove it from the duffel bag i reccomend cutting it out. I was very happy with this purchase and would highly reccomend it to anyone.

Great Chair
sc7717  from Mt Pleasant, SC,  Mar 18, 2009
I purchased two of these chairs for my daughters sitting area. She loves them. They come in a large canvas bag, very compressed. When you get the chair, it is easier to cut the canvas bag it comes in. It was fun watching the chair GROW. They are really big so keep that in mind when ordering more than one. We also purchased the pillow and ottaman. We had friends spend the night the next day and one of her teenage friends slept on it very comfortably. I would definately recommend this chair. One of the chairs was damaged in shipping and Overstock sent out another chair the same day I called them.

I thought the price was a little much for the chair but after having it for a few months now I've realized it was worth every penny!! I bought it as a present for my husband but our 13 month old son seems to get the most use out of it. About a week after we got it he started getting used to it and now its about the only place he will go to sleep by himself. It is definitely one of the comfiest things ever...it has become nicknamed the sleeping pod by everyone in our family. We love this one so much we will probably be purchasing a smaller version for our son's room. The only downsides I have really found to this product are - Yes it is HUGE (and heavy which makes it hard to move...but all it takes is a sheet of plastic to move it/slide it) but this shouldn't come as a surprise if you read the info. Also it kind of attracts fuzz and stuff but it can be vacuumed/wiped off real easily
