If you even think you need a storage bench, this is the ONE !! After comparing leather storage benches on OverStock, I am so thrilled I decided to purchase this bench. It's first class all the way and extremely well made with gorgeous deep dark brown leather. The delivery was super fast and the packaging was superb. The bench has a cotton like string pull cover. This cover completely covered the bench before the heavy foam was meticulously wrapped around for shipping protection. The tag stated SAFAVIEH. I looked up the site and the furnishings offered are ONLY THE BEST. You won't be disappointed if you're looking for quality along with an elegant leather storage bench. I LOVE IT ! I researched extensively online and in local furniture stores before ordering this ottoman. It's everything what the previous reviewers said it is: smooth leather, luxurious look, excellent quality, no assembly required. The childsafe hinge keeps the lid from slamming shut, which is another reason I chose this one. Overall an excellent purchase. Highly recommend it!!!

Beautiful bench with very dark & soft leather. Very stylish. No assembly required. Using it as a coffee table/ottoman. Couldn't be happier! You won't regret the purchase.

I am thoroughly delighted with the storage bench. It is rich and elegant. I am particularly impressed with the hinge mechanism on the lid. It holds it's position at any angle. That means it will never slam shut. The bench sits under a low window in our home office. I find myself looking at it often because it's not only functional, but beautiful.

This item came fully assembled and appears well-constructed. It opens and closes smoothly and the lid doesn't slam shut. It is roomy and easily accommodates two large blankets. It does have a strange rubbery smell on the inside, and makes my blankets smell sort of like plastic. I just put dryer sheets inside to counteract this smell. But, otherwise, I am very pleased with the product.

I shopped and researched storage benches online and in stores. I wanted a nice quality one that also had child safety hinges that would not crash down on my grandchildren's heads! This bench is beautiful, well made and a very nice addition to our home. It has a large storage area, hinges that hold and arrived in perfect condition. I highly recommend it !

This storage bench is a very good piece of furniture and stores a lot of towels, sheets, a couple of blankets.

Our first bench came damaged but Overstock very quickly took care of it. The bench has plenty of storage and is a nice addition to our living room. The color is a nice, dark brown. The only thing I don't love is that you can see the hinges on the outside.

I spent weeks trying to decide on a storage ottoman to use in my family room as a coffee table and after all my research I chose this one and it was absolutely the perfect choice. It's a beautiful rich brown leather and it is of excellent quality.

A very well constructed and stylish bench. It feels very study (although if you are looking for a soft-cushiony feel, this might not be the best choice). The storage area is really large. We use it for puzzels, games, etc. and it holds a ton of those. The hinges are very sturdy and allow you to close the top of the bench very slowly (i.e., it won't slam down, which is important to us since we have a 4-year old). The leather looks to be of high quality. Overstock packaged the bench very securly, and that there was no assembly required was a plus. All-in-all, a very good value for a useful and attractive piece of furniture.

This is a great quality leather ottoman. The color and style match our couch perfectly. And it holds a lot-more than I expected. The other reviews about this item were right on. I'm glad I spent a little more to get something that is large enough and well made. It was worth it.

I've needed a bench in the bedroom for some time, and thought to look on Overstock. At first, what I was finding was faux leather, or bicast leather, which I have found scratches easily. Then it occurred to me to sort by highest price first. This bench showed up in the search results, and it seemed to be exactly what I was seeking. Leather, sturdy, beautiful, storage space for extra pillows and a small quilt, and best of all NOTHING TO ASSEMBLE. Very, very pleased.

Still enjoy this bench every day. It looks great under the window in my french country styled home. The only negative was the feet on the bench had some nicks. It's a very comfortable bench.
