  • Beautiful Chandelier

    I am thrilled with my purchase of the Matte Black 4-light Pillar Chandelier. It has a definite Potterybarn look at half the cost! The fixture arrived promptly and was well packaged so as to ensure nothing would break in transit - I was particularly worried about the pillar shades arriving in one piece - but they were well wrapped in bubble wrap and individual boxes for protection. My husband was able to quickly replace our old chandelier with this new one with no problems. The fixture is well made and looks high end. The color of the pillar light shades is just as shown in the photo - a very pale yellow/cream color. The metal "cage" is matte black as described. The pillar shades allow the fixture to give off a soft light above our dining room table. I'm very pleased with this purchase from Overstock!

  • Go ahead and order this!

    I debated forever before ordering this fixture. When it came back into stock, I decided to pull the trigger, and I'm so glad I did. It' was easy to install, and it's got a really simple, spare look that I love. I'm even considering not using the candle covers and using big round light bulbs on their own for a more modern look...I think that spareness also helps disguise how inexpensive it is; the more ornate something it is, the harder it is to "buy "cheap." ....True, it doesn't look like it cost $10K, but sometimes you want a basic, quiet fixture so other things in the room can stand out.

  • Gorgeous chandelier

    OMG...I love this light fixture. We have been remodeling our house after it was rented for six years and so far, THIS is my favorite fixture. It has such clean lines but a dramatic effect. I am having an electrician install it over my stairwell going to the second floor. I hope it is easy to install but as I am not going to do that, I am only concerned with its decorating appeal. Five stars for impact.

  • Stunning Chandelier

    I fell in love with this chandelier the first time I saw it. It is large and fits perfectly in my dining room with its decor. The chandelier's dimensions were exact and we hired an electrician to install it. It provides very nice lighting - a nice warm glow. I plan to change our light switch to a dimmer switch in the near future and I am confident this chandelier will be even more beautiful.

Hi aking3, while it is possible to cut the chain we do not recommend modifying any of our products in such a manner without consulting a professional. If you want to adjust the length maybe you can try a stabilizing hook to catch the extra slack and be able to adjust it when you want to. overstockcustomercare1 on Jun 7, 2013
 
 
Hi, I prefer white or clear glass shades. Would it be easy for me to replace the shades if I could find clear glass ones. Are the light sockets finished -- would they look OK through clear glass?
