heavy but awesome
beautiful bamboo finish. i seasoned it w/mineral oil before first use. washes easily if you have a big sink. a bit heavy but makes a decorative counter top piece.

Simply Stunning...
When I first opened the box and looked at my new cutting block, I was amazed at how well constructed and absolutely beautiful this piece was. Knowing that I needed to season the board prior to use, I purchased some food grade mineral oil, and coated the board several times until it was properly seasoned. I was stunned at how amazing this block looked after being seasoned! The colors are rich, the contrast of the block pattern of the bamboo is beautiful, and oh yes; it's a great cutting surface. I highly recommend this block; you won't be disappointed.

Love it
I found the Cutting Board's appearance even prettier than in the pictures. It is used often and when it's not, it's a nice accent to the kitchen decor. Well worth the money.
