  This is refurbished? It arrived and looked brand new! Very happy with the purchase and put our washer up to a level so that we don't have to bend over and drag out wet clothes anymore. The drawer I've found of no use so far, except to hold the washer manual, but maybe something will fit in there. Definitely recommend over buying a 'new' one!

  As mentioned, I ordered two of these pedestals. One was received in perfect condition. The second was badly damaged - it was actually sent to us that way because the box was not damaged at all. When I contacted overstock.com about the problem, they quickly informed me that they were out of stock, so they refunded my money for the damaged pedestal. Wonderful customer service! Only problem was that I had to go elsewhere and spend more money to purchase another one.

  Have 5 of these units. Basically like but fixing 3rd one now which was a refurb about 8 months old. Think low on freon. Another one shorted out from water because plugged up and shorted circuit board controller which is very close to bottom of unit. Another one heat strip got wet and rusted and broke (unfixable) although still works for cooling. If you buy would consider extended warranty because very well may need it.,
