On the third day, the finish on the top of of the bench began peeling off. This was very disappointing.

This bench is not practical for what a number of people may consider "outdoor" use. The top is made of slats. Although sturdy, there are gaps between the slats. Unless this bench is in a cover outdoor space, any rainfall will fall through the slats and collect in the drawers. The drawers could be larger as well. They fall several inches shy of reaching the back of the piece and they are not very deep.

It looks wonderful and fits the space on our covered porch perfectly. My husband deemed it VERY easy to assemble and really, the only detractor was that the finish did not flow properly into the grooves on top and there were a few voids. ( If this bench was going to be out in the elements, I would give it another coat of protectant.) I chose a really nice indoor/outdoor cushion to go on top of it, after I saw the little flaws (also from Overstock) and now it looks perfect. I use the drawers to store my small hand tools and gloves for the garden and it is the perfect place to take off boots before coming in the house.

The title says it all...good purchase. I needed something to sit on under a window so after measuring the space, I 'toured' for a bench. This one fits perfectly! Now I'm looking for a cushion, but until I find one I'm using the bench to elevate my houseplants up into the light. Good product!

This bench was easy to asemble & looks great in my laundry room. Great price also.

With a bit of assembly, this product was set up and in place within 15 minutes. Looks great and does the job. Only flaw is the drawers get a little tricky but nothing a little working on won't fix.

I needed a bench for my mudroom where we can take off boots and shoes, but also store the hats and mittens that usually collect on top of my dryer. This bench was exactly what I wanted because it's high enough off of the ground to slide shoes under, but also has storage. The drawers aren't huge, but they will be perfect for hats, mittens, even dog leashes or gardening gloves. Because I am using it indoors, I do not have any concerns about the finish weathering the elements. The wood has a nice rich tone, the white finish is clean and it looks much more expensive than it was. Also, I think that the drawers will hold up better than simple wicker baskets may have.

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. Great! In fact, as he was assembling it, my husband asked how much I'd spent - I told him the Overstock price, and that I got free shipping. He was shocked - in a good way!

Bench was easy to assemble, although the drawer stop from one drawer had fallen off and also one of the sliders had pulled out during shipping. Easy fixes but disappointingly cheap materials for those problem areas. The stopper was a small block of wood held onto the body of the bench by a screw. Primative, but I guess it does the trick. The drawers were pretty flimsy ,too, made of very, very light-weight wood and smaller than what the photograph leads one to believe. Regardless, aside from its flaws and somewhat inflated price, it's an attractive bench and it can store small items that you don't want hanging about.
