Great bed
Notes about the bed: It comes in 3 packages, w/two weighing 60lbs and the other around 30lb. All the pre-drilled holes line up very well so putting it together is easy but takes about 2 hours for one person. Make sure when you put the dow rods in that you hammering them as far into the holes as they will go; this will keep the wood from splitting when you hammer all 4 pieces together(head & foot board & side boards) The dow rods are glued into the holes so once the head & foot boards are connected to the side boards you will not be able to take apart the frame. Just a note in case you will need to move the bed out of the room. Personally I love the bed. It has a sleek design and looks great with the blanket tucked tightly in on all sides. Plus the side ledges have proven extremely useful for holding books & glasses of water.

Love the bed
We've had this bed for a few weeks by now. So far everything has been great. The bed is pretty solid and sturdy. The look is simplistic yet elegant, exactly what we were looking for. Bed is low profile, and with our thick mattress and a memory form topper, the total height is just about right for us. We also purchased the Catalina dresser and night stands from overstock to go with it. Together they make a great bedroom set. Definitely very happy with the purchase!

Better than expected
The bed is very sturdy and is exactly what I was looking for. I definitely recommend this product. It took a while to set it up by myself, however, it wasn't hard, simply time consuming. The frame is nice looking and isn't built out of cheap materials.

New Owner
The bed was shipped very quickly but they did not require a signature when it arrived and was placed on the side of the house. If you are worried about weather or people stealing it, make sure to speak to the delivery company or make arrangements ahead of time. The bed came in three separate boxes; one was about 35lbs the other two were around 60lbs. The instructions were pretty simple and the bed was not too difficult to put together. The super glue that came with it did not seem strong enough to hold the dowels in place or I did not wait long enough. It was difficult to push the dowels into the slots and it is pretty important to have a rubber mallet. The side rails do not have pre-drilled holes for the 12 slats that go across the bed. It does come with screws and you can use an electric drill and just put them right into the side rail. The bed looks great and I am very happy with my purchase. Compared to other platform beds this price is perfect.

This frame is really solid and good looking. Wood construction is on point and it has a clean, crisp, minimal look.

Difficult to assemble.
I had a very hard time putting this bed together. The bolts that secure the frame are very difficult to get too. The slots provide for the bolts are unnecessarily small, making it very difficult to get the Allen wrench flush or to turn 360 degrees.

Platform bed
If you do not put many things togher be ready to allow a good amount of time to complete this task. Great look, modern and sturdy. What I like most about this bed is that the sides have space to put drinks, books etc on. Like the fact that I can easly sweep under neath the bed. Great buy and great price.

Simple, sturdy bed frame
This bed frame is nice and sturdy. The only complaint I have is assembling it. it took some time and was a little confusing at the beginning when it said to use super glue. You don't need to use the super glue.

not easy to assemble , squeaky
This bed was a chore to assemble the base and headboard screws are at a angle and really difficult to get in -- my fingers bled from trying to get them in. The bed also squeaks a lot from the slats - I have to keep tightening them to get them to stop. Also consider a few things - lack of headboard - my pillow keeps getting sucked between the wall and the matress and if you have a dog the gets on the bed - he will scratch the edges up. the materials are good quality though

Beautiful and modern
This bed is perfect, low to the ground and very solidly built. It is time consuming to put together but not difficult. My only issue when putting it together was the screws provided to secure the slats were not long enough to hold them to the frame. Also, I was worried that the mattress would move around since the bed looked very flat but a queen size mattress fits perfectly into the inset and the mattress stays securely in place. It's very comfortable and I'd order this bed again if I needed another one.
