Difficult but Beautiful
*** Wanted to leave a review for the Full size - Halifax Brown but it was all sold out. Since this is exactly the same bed minus the color, I will review here. ***Do not use the super glue included (or any glue)** This would have saved us a whole lot of trouble and frustration! You don't need the glue to hold the bed together, the screws do a wonderful job alone!! If you do end up using the glue, make sure that you put the bed together as fast as you can, because when the wooden dowels set (and if they set in crooked), you will have a very frustrating time screwing in the side rails to the head/foot board! The first set of head/foot board wood actually cracked when screwing in with the hex wrench. The second time around (with a new set of wooden dowels & head/foot board), we did not use ANY glue and the rest is history! I will say that using the hex wrench was a pain in the ** because it took almost an hour and some to screw in the the nails with the dumb thing. If you have a socket with ratchet mini set to use with the hex wrench, you will cut your time with the little wrench literally in half. If you do have an electric drill, you will cut the entire process in half. I could see someone doing this on their own; however, so much easier with two people. The quality of the bed is excellent and customer service was excellent as well. I will say that there is no white glove delivery, so if you have a flight of steps (the three big/long boxes are VERY heavy), make sure you have at least two people. Also, make sure that you are okay with them leaving all three boxes at the door if you are not home (something I had a huge issue with since I live close to the road). I would purchase again from Overstock (perhaps not huge furniture again)!!

RECOMMENDED
Took about 3 hrs to assemble with 2 people and no power drill. Good instructions, nothing that difficult. Looks great, I love the low shelf all the way around the outside. Good amount of space underneath for storage considering the low profile. Only complaint really is the pillows fall off the top without a headboard, but that's to be expected.

simple and clean
good quality material, not great. but you do get what you pay for. took two of us half hour to put together, simple easy instructions. i can see how it would have been a lot harder with only one person. clean simple style. looks and works great with my memory foam mattress.

Amazing bed for the money
I purchased this bed looking to save space as I am in the military and scheduled to deploy regularly. The full size is more than enough room for one or even two persons. Putting the bed together was fairly easy, I had a small paint scratch on one of the slats where the bed was going to be anyway and with me being the practical perfectionist that I am fixed it with a sharpie then ran my fingers over it to help the color blend. The super glue that comes with the kit used to glue the wooden pegs in place was leaking and managed to get everywhere but I was able to get enough out of the tube for one side of each peg. I purposfully did this to allow for the bed to be taken apart for storage before deployment. The bed is solid for a *** dollar bed and doesn't look cheap at all with the finished product all while still providing extra parts. When it came time to screw in the slats, I would of liked to see starter holes instead of having to measure and drill myself and lastly bring a power drill to screw everything in! or I'll take you 5 times as long. Final thought: Definately worth the money, just a few minor issues that the manufacturer should address but for the most part a great bed.

Surprising
The platform takes forever to put together unless you are equipped with an electric driver drill. The product is delivered in three boxes; it's easy to put together, and surprisingly heavy. A full size mattress easily fits on the platform with enough room for your alarm on the side. BTW, the super glue included for the wood dowels isn't very valuable, use wood glue instead.

I love this bed, however, it is not for the weak as it takes alot of strength to lift the mattress to tuck the bedlinens in to make it look good.

Platform Bed
We purchased this bed for our 13 year old daughter when we remodeled her room for her. She wanted the Asian theme and this bed was perfect. The quality of the bed was excellent for the price. My husband was able to put it together without any problems (all parts and directions were there). We would definitely recommend this bed. The bed was delivered without damage on the exact day state don the order.

Decent bed - HEAVY!
A solid, sturdy, inexpensive bed. Make sure you understand how the "ball" end of the allen wrench works - if you don't use it properly, you'll strip thr allen screws. Other than the allen screws on the rails, the installation is easy - I highly recommend using a drill to drive the screws - save your wrist! The bed looks good assembled.

Great bed for the price.
This bed was purchased for our son's room. It arrived on time, and was relatively simple to assemble. The bed is very sturdy and heavy. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this bed, especially for the price. When the time comes for him to move out this bed will stay put and we will purchase another one for him. It will be difficult to take apart and move.
