platform bed
this is a great platform bed, solid wood construction, very beautiful color and it was exactly what I was looking for. the only issue was that it took about 3 hours to put together because the screws that hold the frame together were impossible to turn because they were set in a carved out slot that made access with the allen wrench very difificult..

Nice bed
The bed looks nice but I think it is a litle low. I will buy a base to make it higher, but otherwise my daughter seems to like it.

great quality
This bed is perfectly contemporary and of great quality! It went together in under an hour with no problems at all. If I needed another bed frame, I would buy this one again in a heartbeat!

Assembly...
This is a good bed frame. My only complaint is that when I was putting it together, it was hard to get all of the pegs in. I did not have a rubber mallet, so I used the blunt side of a hammer. Needless to say, they didn't all get pounded in 100% (and some pegs got splintered and are no 1/2 pegs), and I am not looking forward to the day that it falls apart. Maybe it won't... we'll see. I'm also concerned about how I'll get it apart when I move... but that's something to worry about later.

Pretty but...
This bed was highly anticipated for. I was excited to get it and thought it would take only on hour max to put together. I spent maybe 3 hours. The way you are supposed to screw in the side boards is ridiculous. They have an inset hole that you put a screw into and you are supposed to use an allen wrench to tighten it. You get maybe a 1/4 turn radius and the screw is about 2 1/2 inches long! It takes forever! I like the design and it goes great with my room and bedding. The other downfall is on the left side of the bed the black has chipped off in some part. I don't know if it was painted black after wards or not but I will be touching up those parts. Hope fully in a few years it will not degrade anymore.
