Customer Reviews
This is a solidly built piece of furniture that is a good solution for small spaces. It looks great. Price is steep but it will be around a long time. I bought and returned a different item that was just too weak and tacky to do the job or keep in the house. This piece is classy and solid. It is true the drawers are only 12" deep but that's standard depth. The arm that holds up the flip top is strong and does okay, tho I think it would be better to have 2 support arms on each side, it does okay with the one. Well built.
This was a great idea that was *almost* brilliantly executed. It's lessened by foolish economies. Positive side: this is solid and well-made on the exterior and the drawers are on good sliders. The cabinet is strong and the top is good quality. The problem is that the drawers are only 12" deep despite the cabinet having a usable depth of over 18". This really reduces the storage value of the piece and has no reason other than to save the manufacturer money. Second problem is that the side supports for the flip out top are inadequate and just won't support the intended uses of the top. Don't try to use the table for anything but display. You can't do bills on it, too weak. It's stupid. But for these limitations the piece is brilliant -- but the 2 limitations go to the heart of why I bought it. In the end it's a big disappointment. If they fix these 2 problems they have a 5 star product. Instead, it's a 3 at best. Disappointing.
