This is my second Hammock stand purchase from Overstock. I should have learned a lesson on the first one. The first wood arc (cypress??? Doubt it) lasted only a year before it started falling apart. This one will probably do the same. It resembles a cheap piece of playground equipment. It is coated with some sort of galvanized spray, with runs and clumps throughout. Holes have to be punched in the wrong areas? it doesnt make sense to put holes that have no purpose on the top and no drain holes under at low points. This thing would just trap water. Rather than having to box this up and ship it back, I'll make modifications and try to make this thing work. Vietnamese Fine Furniture???The first four post on these reviews seem to be bogus also. The same broken English all on the same day. Must have been to get this junk selling.
I love the lines of this hammock but was very dissapointed when it arrived. The finishing is very rough and after 5 days on my porch all the hardware was covered in rust!!! The design is poor. The frame has several open holes for rain to go into but no drain holes so I know it will also rust from the inside. The hammock is confortable enough but for value, apperance, durability and construction I give it thumbs down.
Wow very easy to assemble and move around yard, even my wife can roll it around. Instructions weren't the best but still easy to put together and seems very stable. We use it almost daily and no problems. And the price is amazing compared to others I looked at here and other places. One of my best buys in quite some time.
This was a birthday gift and it has been a great addition to our backyard. Easy to set up, durable stand, and one of the best designs of hammock out there. I expect to use it frequently this summer.
Great stand, really heavy construction but easy to move since it's on wheels. Very attractive and good value for the quality.
