The knife and fork are attractive, sturdy and well made. Perfect for a gift or personal use. Outstanding price for the quality. The front cover of the case was damaged and the manufacturer covered it with stickers. Easy to replace the plastic. Bett QC the package as well as the contents. A minto complaint because the actual products were great.

Be careful with this one. Having been to Laguiole, the first thing I looked for on this set was the bumble bee icon that shows the item was made in Laguiole. Not found; read the literature that showed the item was made in China! Not sure how they could use the Laguiole moniker, but for sure this should be disclosed so the buyer is making an informed decision. Likely won't keep because I do not like deceptive marketing. Reading back, I see the description was carefully worded: 'Designed in France; manufactured to the highest standards'. Disingenuous!

I have only had a limited time to try out this set, but it seems to be everything I was expecting when I ordered it. As usual, the order fulfilment and shipping were first rate.

I ordered this as a gift for my husband, who is a bit of a knife snob. It's gorgeous and well made, and feels as though it should cost much more. The steel is beefy and the handles are nicely polished. It was a pleasure to use for carving up Christmas dinner.
