These glasses are so versitile. I use them for water glasses and on occassion for drinking everyday type wine and mixed drinks. They really dress up everyday occassions and are very heavy duty.

The tumblers are beautiful and great for everyday use. The La Rochere design is classy even with the visible seams. Note that there are two seams, one on opposite sides of every glass, so even though they appear imperfect, the consistency makes them perfect! However, they were poorly packaged so one of mine was broken. I wouldn't recommend that you buy these unless there was some way to ensure careful delivery.

I love these glasses. I had previously purchased the last six another well known store had, and I thought I would never see them again in order to have a set of 12. Then when I found them at Overstock, I knew I had to have them. As another customer mentioned, the ridge on the glass is evident, but it doesn't stop you from loving them for everyday use. I recieve compliments on them all the time and people wanting to know where I purchased them. They feel great in your hand, and are beautiful on the table. The quantity of liquid that the tumblers hold is 10 oz. up to the top ridge which is about 1/2 inch from the top of the tumbler. (I believe the description on Overstock is wrong, unless they have corrected it). Also, I have the small juice glasses that match them. These are great also. My grand children drink from the small ones every time they visit.

I use these as everyday glasses.They are a perfect size for everything; ice tea, milk, water, beer, etc. I'm thinking of purchasing a set or two for next years Christmas gifts. I don't know anyone who can't use a good set of drinking glasses that are also attractive.

I bought these to "dress up" my everyday table a bit. These glasses do just that. They are heavy and sturdy, a plus with my chip-o-holic husband. The only caveat I have is that the mold seams on the glass are quite prominent. Otherwise a great deal on a pretty glass.

The seams were very dominant !!! they almost look like seconds or irregular glasses. The quality control was amiss.....They had great potential, was dissapointed.

I'm always on the lookout for sturdy, interesting everyday water/beverage goblets and this fit the bill perfectly. Hefty weight, holds ample amount, charming French design. I don't have to worry about them breaking easily. The seams are noticeable but acceptable for a daily goblet. Perfect mix and match addition with my other clear goblets. Love them - pretty and utilitarian.

I wanted a French looking all-purpose tumbler to match my china. They are for the use of adults as well as my many grandchildren. These look wonderful on the table and they are nicely weighted to avoid easily tipping over. I ordered a set of 6 and liked them so much I promptly ordered another set of 6.

I thought and thought about whether to spend the coins on these glasses and finally took the plunge. They have great heft and really add to the appearance of a well set table. I was a bit disappointed in how obvious the molding seams are in the product but it won't stop me from enjoyng them I would buy again and will likely get another size.

I bought these glasses for everyday use. They will meet my needs nicely. These are very pretty beverage glasses without being too delicate for pizza night. I'm considerig buying another set. Note to maker - I'd love to find the same glass in a larger version - in the South we drink "super large" glasses of iced tea. These glasses only hold normal amounts.
