The dinner plates are beautiful. They are smaller than the dinner plates we are accustom to, but Iprefer the smaller size.

I wanted a set of dinner plates to use by themselves and to be able to mix and match with my other china sets, when I need additional place settings. These fit the bill very well. While slightly smaller than the average American dinner plate, they are definitely dinner-sized. They are substantial and heavy while offering a pretty and upscale appearance that goes with both traditional and modern table settings. I have purchased the salad plates to go with them.

These plates are attractive, durable, and come out of the dishwasher sparkling.

These plates are lovely, but they are too small for American dinner plates (which have gotten larger along with our servings). The rim is wide, so the center portion for food is small. I am going to keep them as luncheon plates. The appearance and workmanship are great.
