These are lovely plates and certainly durable. They are, however, heavy - wouldn't use them for little old ladies to hold in one hand at a buffet.

I love,love,love these dishes. I bought them to replace my Lenox china that perished in a house fire & I could not be happier. I use them for special occasions, but I find that I use them whenever I have friends over for dinner. They are a bit heavy, bit I love them anyway...I get compliments every time I set my table...because they are clear glass, they go with Anyting.I would definitely recommend these dishes !

Lovely set. Great for any setting. Service for six very accommodating. Can be dressed up or dressed down like a little black dress!
