perfect for all entertaining
I love these glasses. I have the bee and the dragonfly as well and use them year round. Although a thinner glass may be more desirable for some people, I find it more enjoyable not to worry about them when hosting parties. No more hand washing, they sparkle after dishwasher (top shelf). Perfect for the modern hostess.

Industrial Strength
These are stubby, sturdy wine glasses: sufficiently sturdy to survive the rough and tumble of a dishwasher; probably even sturdy enough to bounce back whole if dropped on a cement floor. If those are features that you want, and if you don't mind sipping your wine from a glass with a heavy duty witness line along one side (left over from the mechanized production process), then these should suit you very well. I was hoping for something a little more delicate, a little less industrial.
