The microwave itself is very nice and performs well. Even all of the sensor cooking features seem to really work, which wasn't really the case with other microwaves I've owned. The slide out fan is a stellar feature. Installation wasn't difficult at all. This was important, as I had to do it more than once. Now for the bad part. I knew I was buying a refurbished microwave, which is no big deal, As I've had a ton of success with refurbs in the past. The first microwave had some very noticeable scratches on the fan housing. If the fan housing was stainless, I could have buffed it out and regrained it, but it's just painted. The paint looks fine next to the stainless, just not when it's horribly scratched. I returned it and got candidate #2. This one looked great. After I installed it, I started using it. The fan that scatters the microwaves from the magnetron made a loud screeching noise. I uninstalled it and sent it back to Overstock and rolled the dice with #3. #3 arrived and had a very minor bit of discoloration on the door, as very minor dent (that only I would notice), and a crooked fan housing. I sucked it up and kept #3 fearing the next one would be worse. I really didn't want to go through the hassle of uninstalling\reinstalling another unit. I fixed the fan, the dent isn't noticeable and the discoloration isn't all that noticeable either. I think the outfit doing the refurb on these is really not doing much more than wiping up the SpaghettiOs and putting it in a new box. When I had problems with 3 out of 3 units, it's tough to deny this. I emailed Overstock with my concerns, and they seemed to at least be concerned. Overstock customer service was awesome through this ordeal. They had no problems processing the returns. They allowed me to receive the replacement before I shipped back the bad ones. They arranged for UPS to pick it up at my door, as it's big, and I don't have a very big car. The customer service reps obviously had english a first language. They didn't even keep me on the phone for very long while dealing with my issues. I actually had a friend over when I told him of my problems and that I was calling them. He laughed and said "good luck". 4 minutes later I was off the phone, had a replacement on the way and arrangements for UPS to stop by for the old one. He was shocked. That's how good the service was. That'll keep me as an Overstock customer for sure.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. high quality, poor attempt at refurb.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? I'd say it should be described as a factory second\return, not as refurbished.
