  • Dead on Arrival

    When the product arrived the documentation for the install was sorely lacking. The instructions to have it sit for 24 hours was not in the manual or with the packing material, but rather on a sticker on one side of the outside of the shipping box! We found it by pure luck. After we got it installed and waited we turned it on. Hot air. It has been 2 days now and still hot air. It's the 4th of July weekend, so we can't call anyone until Tuesday. This is a wall unit, so unfortunately I can't simply yank the unit back out without leaving a nice hole in the wall of my house. I had honestly expected a Refurbished unit to at least show up working properly. It appears to be a freon issue, so I'm assuming the unit has a leak somewhere. That's likely why it was turned in the first time . It looks like whoever "fixed" it the first time simply filled it back up and re-packed it without checking the unit. I'm just hoping we can find another unit or I've got a massive hole in my home.
