This remanufactured unit is performing nicely (about 3 weeks now). It is compact, efficient, and very effective at bringing out indoor humidity down to ~50%. It is a little noisier than I was hoping for, but very quiet considering it has a fan and compressor that run when it is operating. I wish it had a built in condensate pump but other than that I am very happy.

This item has its flaws, its refurbished! The main problem with this item is the on/ off switch located inside the dehumidifier isn't properly hooked up right and that means the timer functions are completly useless. I had to rig this item with heavy duty tape to keep the auto shut off valve taped in an always on position. Basically if you want to use this item you have one feature on and off. SO I rigged it, but this needs to be monitored as if the 65 pinter fills with water and you don't turn it off you may have a big problem on your hands. I would advise to steer clear of any items that are refurbished as the factory rarely gets it right fixing the problem,. This item works, but not worth the $$$ in my opinion.

This is a good dehumidifier and does not seem to use too much electricity. My only issue is with the water bin. It is very difficult to remove and then replace after emptying the water.

This is my second LG dehumidifier. My basement has two large sections and there is now one in both locations. The new one has one additional feature that the old one does not. It shows both the set humidity and the actual humidity. This is a nice feature. The noise is about average for one of these and it is doing a good job so far. It arrived looking like new and was put to work right away. One feature these units have is the ability to operate down to 43 degrees. I had the older unit in the garage all winter and it worked great. I heat the garage with a LP ventless heater and it produces lots of moisture. The dehumidifier kept up with the moisture problem. Most dehumidifiers will ice up and stop working around 55 degrees. This is a good deal compared to new units at the big box stores. You will save around *** with this purchase.

This product is great! I live in the South, so humidity is a big problem. I run this before leaving for work and I have to dump the 65 quarts when I come home. I bought the refurbished item and did not have any problems with the product. The product does give off some heat from running but does not overheat the room. The controls are easy to use to allow for easy programming. I would certainly recommend this to anyone

I recently moved and had a very musty and moldy smelling basement. Looked at numerous products and found this refurbished model that was just what I was looking for at a very reasonable price and of course, great shipping fees!!! Product is working well and I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to purchase a dehumidifier.

I got the dehumidifier and the box was in good condition....but....the dehumidifier was smashed pretty bad on one side, the piece of the drain I needed is missing....I can work around it I guess.....I plugged it in and it has worked just fine....I expected it to at least be in one piece and everything there....and the price wasn't that much lower than buying it local....but it does work well....so far....only 3 weeks...

It does the job well, however it is very noisey. I thought it was supposed to be quiet but it is not

This product does its job well. It is somewhat noisier than I would like. Also, it would be even better if it had an internal pump enabling it to pump the water removed to a drain at a higher location.

The LG dehumidifier was highly rated at Consumer Reports. It was easy to install. I used the garden hose option for draining the water to the outside, which was also easy to connect. The controls on the panel are simple and self explanatory. It's a quiet unit and really works well.
