  • You get what you pay for

Door closes but system does not think it's closed - won't run:(

  • Does the job but is noisy

I like that it's got the ability to mount a hose to it for drainage, so you don't have to worry about emptying a bucket all the time. It is quite loud though so I wouldn't recommend it for living spaces that are occupied when it's running.

I had a dehumidifier for years because my basement is full of moisture. Now, that I bought this refurbished LG, I have to say that I am very pleased. It turns off when the bucket is full (which is every morning), it's not too noisy and dehumidifies the whole basement. At first, I was afraid to buy a refurbished product but when it arrived, I was surprised that everything looked brand new. And works like brand new.

  • Poor reliability

Used this unit in the basement for 4 summers in Michigan. It pulls a lot of moisture out of the air - I emptied the 65 pint bin every morning and watered flowers with it. It was reasonably quiet, but recently the fan motor went bad and it howls like crazy. I looked into replacing the small motor it is sells for *** - it doesn't make sense to me to pay nearly half for just a little motor after 4 yrs. I'll be buying a non-LG unit.

  • this dehumidifier is working o.k.

The first one sent had a problem within an hour or two, but the one you sent to replace it is doing as it should...working fine. It was a reconditioned so I don't know if that makes a difference but for the money I hope it keeps on, keepin on!

  • Love the Dehumidifier!...until it stopped working

Product ran great in the basement for the first summer. Basement dry as can be. Second summer, condenser began freezing up and would no longer dehumidify. Third summer, condenser would no longer extract water from the air and unit was completely useless. Compressor and fan appear to be running normally, just no dehumidifying. For that kind of money, or any kind of money for that matter, the unit is JUNK! You've been warned.

  • Worked great for a couple weeks

Was very excited to receive this product but am very disappointed with it. It worked great for a couple weeks but then it stopped sensing when it was full and covered our furnace room floor in an inch of water.

  • OK dehumidifier

Thin plastic tabs on water bucket were not strong enough to lift the bucket and broke off. Makes it difficult to empty
